ML starting team

I tried to start with Man United in division 2, but there doesn't seem to such an option. It looks like I must start with the premier league if I choose a team like MU. If I start with a team like PES united, I can start in Division 2.

Is there anyway to change this? Or am I wrong?

Well from my own perspective, I like it better this way. If the team you want to play is already high up on the list and that you can only play them from there respective league's. Isn't that better than having to box yourself up from the 2nd Division. Which I did do because I choose PES United and transformed them into my own team.

I wonder if it is possible to switch to a new manager job after promotion. Say you take PES United to division 1, is it possible to get hired by Man United then? I heard it is possible in Fifa 09.

Well I don't think they have a feature like that, I guess it would be cool. But I always played my ML's till breaking point with the same team or the newer PES to come out . But no nothing yet indicates that it is one of the features of this game.
