i'm new to PES and was wondering ???almost every time i have the ball going forward the latency bar shows ??usualy against players from D1 aswell i've noticed.is this a form of cheating ie;slowing down conection to their advantage.

maybe i've answered my own question,seeing as nobody is saying zip ??that's the difference to me between fifa[e.a.] and pes,too much cheating going on.i came over from fifa coz i thought i'd find an improvment but no luck with any football games on line,plus only team anyone wants to play with is shitty barca,pes just as boring as fifa but with more cheats.

I have to go through with it too so I feel for you. Nearly everytime I verse someone, that bar shows up showing by poor signal and most of the time my matches end up disconnected. Its the crappy servers of KONAMI and you should know KONAMI have worse servers than FIFA. Wired connections might help a bit but that will only be the case if the other guy has a fine connection. FIFA's system is slightly better but still has faults so you won't find any luck with PES if you're sick of FIFA's online system

not sure it has anything to do with servers m8.more like opponant doing the "downloading"crap when i have the ball going forward.some desperate ppl playing this game tbo,and with nothing to offer other than having all of the "usual suspects" of messi,ronaldo,pato et al; and without them and the ability to cheat wouldnt win an arguement in an empty house,tossers each and every one of 'em.
