Let me start by saying I played 23 games of Become A Legend and about 5 myClub games. The first thing you will have to get over, with this game, are the very poor graphics. When I say poor, I mean player models look like PS2 level graphics. The reason for this is the licensing. Sure the licensed players (about 10% of players in the game) are passable but the remaining 90%, look like PS2 created player with general 1 settings for every feature of the player.
To go along with character models, the jerseys are also very bad, IMO. I edited the entire premier league to include jerseys and they put about 5 hours of work into this...at most. The jerseys make the drop in jerseys from fifa look incredible(which they are not).
Graphics - 5/10 and that's a friendly 5, IMO.
Gameplay - This is why I bought the game. I read everywhere that PES is "real" soccer. If soccer was played with a beach ball, I would have to agree. The ball physics along with player reactions to the ball are generally bad. Players fire off one time shots, sometimes with their back to the goal like an EA NHL game. The ball comes off the foot like a beach ball unless you get the rare direct shot on the rush. Slide tackles look great but are almost useless. Goaltenders actually play very well and are the high point to the game, IMO. Unlike the demo, the only time the game runs at a smooth 60 fps is during the editable replays.
Gameplay 6/10
Presentation - I'm not gonna waste much time on this bc they obviously didn't, while making the game. In a word...TERRIBLE. The announcers are a few seconds behind the ball going into the net and sound like their playing iPhone games when it happens. There are almost no cutscenes (substitutions, coaches, crowd interaction, etc...)
Presentation 3/10
Please don't say I'm trolling or I don't get soccer. I hate that I bought FIFA for $63, traded it in for $40, spent $63 on this and will now trade it in for another $63 copy of FIFA. I lost big on this gamble and my honest opinion is, do not buy a small developer sports game. Sure, there are a lot of small developer games that are great but none in the sports arena. Konami is a big name but not their sports game department. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE DEMO. The demo looks and runs great but again, the only teams u can pick are the licensed teams in the demo and as I said, that makes up about 10% of the players and teams.
Overall, I would give this game a 5/10. It looks bad and is only passable when it comes to gameplay. I don't like the arcade aspect to FIFA but it looks, sounds and feels dominant over this years PES. I honestly wanted this game to be great but it just doesn't look like there was enough effort in development.
