Good game last night Appswah, apart from the fact that I got fouled out in the 2nd quater. I pressed select hoping that it would change the camera angle but as soon as I did it I released that select commits a foul.

The other fouls were rubbish, at least one of them were a charge, not a block. The other team were two ballbags anyway. And why did it take you so long to bring your guy into the game? haha

It will be alot better if we could get a full team of 5 to play.

My guy is a 99 at 3pt but I just didn't get the space to sink them or at least attempt them.

Yeah, for sure. Did the other team have two guys? because I think we played against two guys so that would leave me to believe if we get 5 guys in our team then we would be matched up with another team of 5.

When I first looked at these Jordon challenges, I thought I had no chance to complete them.

But I obviously forgot how bad Jordon raped the NBA and rapes this game even worse, so it isn't difficult. Well the first two challenges anyway.

They get harder, actually they just get a bit long. The Lakers/Bulls series is so long. There isn't much problem averaging 33 and 11 but it's a matter of stopping Magic Johnson. Using Scottie Pippen effectively is the key to all the challenges. He's the best defensive player in the game. Period. The guy was the best at mugging a team on defence and then scoring a 3 or dunking on bitches.

So far in the Jordan Challenges, I've just taken control of the shooting guard position i.e. Jordan and let the AI take control of my team mates.

How do you lot find the whole "steals" thing? I'm into my 2nd season in career mode and I'm petrified to even attempt them due to the mauling my game grade gets off it when I foul.

Have to say though aside from that I'm really enjoying it.

Well, it is annoying but it's best not to do it at all. When the guy your guarding has the ball don't attempt to steal, just guard him straight up it's better that way.

What i'm good at is anticipating the passes and intercepting the ball. The AI in the game runs alot of the same plays over and over again and you will see this, so try and guess where a pass is going and quickly snap in for the mugging.

Another tip I can give you is just try to be defensively aware of what's going on around you. If a big, slow guy has the ball and for some idiot reason he's dribbling around or just standing there then he's confused! A lot of Centers and Power Forwards aren't good at keeping the ball. If you are next to them and you feel sneaky, punish them.

A steal rating of over 70 should be good enough. The best of them are deadly you cannot give them any time. Rondo, Paul, Lebron, Wade...

Edit: Ok so I done it the next day. Held him to 18. And in the last seconds he missed a 3 pointer and I had to block another 3 point effort from him.

And I thought holding Dominique Wilkins to under 25 was hard! At least he doesn't go around draining 3's!

I haven't even attempted to touch the Jordan Challenges yet. I've left my player alone recently as well. But I've been playing alot of the association game mode. I'm Playing as the Thunder and currently 11-2 this season, I'm playing 10 minute quarters just to make it last. I usually play a full game then come back to it and it seems to work quite nicely. I had a brilliant game against the celtics was trailing all the way through the game but managed to beat them 105 - 98. Turning it round in the 4th ftw!

I'm also spending the my time in the association mode. I'm playing 56 game 8-min quarters with the 76'ers on all-star (i think, it's the second hardest difficulty). Currently 4th in the conference with around 16 games left, I've won the last 7 which has pushed me up the table quite considerably.

My starting line-up is Holiday, McGrady, Igoudala, Brand & Wallace. With L Williams, Evans, Gomes, Villanueva, Speights and Brackins making up the majority of my bench.

I've got three 1st round picks, nabbed one from the Raptors who are currently bottom of the conference which is good news. Totally loving it, I think I'll up the difficulty once I make the playoffs.

I did one Jordan challenge, but I got fed up with Drexler & Wilkins. I was this close to just editing their stats to pass the whole thing.

All I've been playing is My Player, 10 minute quarters though so I play just a few games in one week.

yeh been playing a lot of my player. I really havent done anything of the such in the previous games or any other versions and finding it very hard noit controling the tempo (playing as PF straight out of USC )
in my first practice game i set like 34+ screens ... which i thought was hilarious for a 5min quarter game. Drafted by the Nets in the 2nd round, haven't touched it since.
