Need experts help with logon PC

I posted this earlier and realised it was on wrong forum (appolgies)

I am having an error msg (game only says error) when I try to logon MP. I have registered online and have user ID. Not sure what is the error since all I get is error msg. I purchaed this game from local blockbuster and it came unsealed. I was tolsd that is how the PC version came. Now I am thinking about it, it is possible that the error due to someone taking down the serial number and using it and that is why I can not log on MP??

Or is there an issue with logon in general with PC version. How can I find out what is causing this error and more importantly if someone else i using my serial number?

Any help is highly appreciated.

I KEPT GETTING THIS WHEN I WAS PUTTING INCORRECT KONAMI ID
DOUBLE CHECK URE PUTTING THE CORRECT stuff IN ,WORTH A SHOT ...soz about the caps:)

Thanks for your response. I have double checked and it is the right name and passowrd. Still that error msg which is really annoying as it does not tell you what the problem is, just error when I try to go online to try MP.

I emailed konami asking for help a couple of days ago and still no response yet. :realmad:

im sure this isnt the problem but ill give it a shot ,,are youusing the username and password that lets you sign in to the konami id website

but the game id (i think its called) what you created user name and password for aswell

i think the password has to be numbers

worth a shot at asking
but i havent got a clue otherwise:erm:

I was getting this message for ages because I was trying to sign in using my Konami ID (the one you would dign in on the website) however it is the gameID that is required which is a different username and a fully numerical password. If that doesnt work, delete your Konami account and make a completely new one.

Thanks guys for the response. I am using the game ID with numircal password (I have also tried konami ID) but no luck. What is annoying is it is almost 3 days and no response from konami!

It is frustrating, I wish it would say what type of error instead of just an error msg.

I will try deleting the konami acct as suggested and hopefully new one will fix the issue.

The only other remedie is to exchange for another DVD and hope that fixes it.
