Not sure if this has been asked...
Quite often in ML, I encountered this during negotiation. It saids it broke down b'cos of "facing competition for places" or "wanted to be a regular" if transferring to a lower-tier team etc.
How can I deal with that? Thx:laugh:

ok look as for players with "facing competition for places": this means u have too many players in that position and probably some of them have higher levels than the one u wanna buy .. so he doesn't agree especially if he's a young player with a modest level from like 79 to 83. and in this case all you can do is either wait or sell some of your useless players especially players older than 29 years .

as for "used to be a regular": it means he's a famous player or an essential player for his team even if he has low levels ..

what I do is this:

U know each player has info about his situation with his current team
some players are said to be established players for the squad .. and those are hard to buy ..

so I choose young players with good levels and index cards and with info that says stuff like: (struggling with the team to hold his position) or (hardly looked at)
and offer to buy them ...

also choose players with low affection levels

and players with no years left in the contract like 4 out of 4 years or 1 out of one year ...

I do the same. Players with high affection are hard to buy. When i want a player with high affection i start trying at the start off the season and keep repeating to try.
After a while there affection lvl will go lower. Not sure if tis works all the time or with player with a really high affection lvl like 6 till 9 or something. I did it a few time with a 5 affection lvl till it was at 3.

Btw, got a few young players I put them on loan. There're quite a few teams watching or contacting them. But at last no one asks for a loan. Anyone knows how to setup a loan effectively?

If you are buying players that statistically are on a par with what you already have, and you already have enough players in that position, you're going to get knocked back.

I've had the same problems and the only way round it is to sell off some of the deadwood. And that means selling players you might not want to sell.

Your best bet is to identify clear areas of improvement when you begin the league and then make space in your squad accordingly.

could some one explain me the logic in transfers? its my second year i am in 1 english league. try to buy players that have no team and no one is interested for them, they don't want to sign they rather won't play then play for me, or they sign to french 2 division or something. and its not 1 player its 3-4. its quite irritating, whats the deal?

Btw, anyone has any idea how can I send young player out for loan? Those I put on loan, there're many teams watching/contacting, but no one make a move...

Please help me. I am in my third season with QPR and already won premier league and semifinalist in champions league. But i am not able to sign any player of my choice like neymar, aguero , shaqiri. And more over chairman is saying that you have to buy a player of BPL best eleven..blah blah. Can anyone suggest me how can i buy good player, i have around 100000 Euros cash
