Never got to play online - game won't connect (PC)

Hi guys,

Hope this is the correct place to post this thread, but I've been looking everywhere and can't find anything.

I bought a copy of PES 2013 for PC on DVD and everything is good and fine in the offline mode. When I tried to go online things turned frustrating. I entered my user, password (i have them from an older PES), registration code and the system said it's ok. I got to the part where I have to build an avatar, made a few changes and then an error message appeared: "an unexpected problem has occured while communicating with the pes2013 server".

I tried again later but it gives me the same error message right after I log in - it doesn't let me do anything (avatar, lobby etc.). Over the course of a few days I tried again and again and everytime I get the same error.

I tried reinstalling the whole game, downloading the patch again, updating the data pack to 2.0 (from inside the game, in november, so it shouldn't be the old, buggy one) but the end result is the same: an unexpected problem has occured while communicating with the pes2013 server. I tried disabling the firewall and still the error remains.

Does anyone have any ideas? It's very frustrating as I didn't even play one second of online or even get to the lobby. What could it be?

I had a problem using my old Konami ID, created a new one and everything worked fine. Manually download the update if your having problems installing the patch from within the game.

I couldn't connect saying incorrect password/Komami ID. Also, there was a problem with the first patch where you couldn't install from in game properly, so I had to manually download from the Konami site. I presume the update problem has been fixed by now though. I Googled the problem about not being able to connect online and a lot of people were struggling with the same problem.

doenst work...it says incorrect konami id or something...did u register a new id with a different e-mail? or the same one u had..?

tried also a new email...doesnt work as well..i think it wont let me use the same registration code which ive already used with a different user name\email...
im really frustrated...dont know what to do...

I have the same problem over here, used old id nick and password and i have already registered the game code under it.
Now i cannot be able to log in if i use another ID registration name, its telling me name invalid .
Only way i can log in is to use my old ID UNDER which i have registered the product.
Cannot play on line at all because usual message appear, servers problems.

Anyone can give me an idea how i can registered this product under a different id name? I ve tried to uninstall reinstall patch from the web site etc etc but nothing works its really frustrating!!

guys!! salvation is here!! someone told me how to fix this problem and it worked! im playing online now with no problems...
this is what you need to do: download a program called tcpoptimizer (http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php)...and than run it.
after that..select custom button bellow...and than you can write a number next to: "TMU" - enter the number - 1370 and thats it...click apply or ok...you are done! enjoy playing! fantastic...so sad though that konami had no info about this and some random guy helped me with it...cheers!!! :)))

My PES2013 online games keep crashing

But i have perfect internet (80MB).

The last 25 games i've tried to play over the past few days keep getting abandoned due to poor reception and i'm given the message that my score won't be affected. Please help as this is so frustrating.
