he said tricks are done in a new way if that helps :)

That would surely help.. However, a New system for Dribbling is something risky, it needs plenty of time and effort -because- if done properly, it would add something New into the Gameplay, something we didn't had before.

On the other hand, if NOT done properly, New Dribbling Features could turn out to be arcadish, annoying (repetitive), and Unrealistic.

The perfect example is FIFA, they still haven't realized that their Dribbling System is just too slow and complex for Football. Dribbling should be more Simple and Intuitive.

I just want Konami to add in loads more teams. It seems they have to get rid of one, to add a new one (Zenit for Bayern, Israel for Latvia, etc). I don't understand it, the capacity of the PS3 and 360 means there can be lots of teams, with no need to get rid of any.

I really want lots of new national teams. It sucks that the African and Asia cups starts at the quarters. Just chuck in every nation in the world thats part of FIFA, even the shitty ones like Faroe Islands, Chad, Nepal, etc. The ultimate challenge would be defeating Brazil as Andorra, or with any other crappy team, on maximum difficulty. We would also be able to play the matches everyone secretly wishes they could, like:

Palestine v Israel - In this quite literally explosive Derby match there is more then local pride at stake. If Palestine win, it means the Israelies must get out of their territory. Victory for Israel means they can continually occupy the Palestinian land. Not a match for the faint hearted.

North Korea v South Korea - Victory for the North means their nation will be sawed off from the South, and will become an island. Completely independent.

Afghanistan v USA - No doubt the Afghans will want to get one over on Bush. They have the chance in a football match.

the spanish clubs are all there, fully licensed with kits and team names. i could not confirm whether or not the actual La Liga name was used though, but who gives a toss about that in honesty.

Says the gameplay has significantly improved from last year's version, far cry from simply a fixed PES2008 and the edit mode is a big improvement, in their words, 'to put it lightly'. Take it with a grain of salt if you will, I'm not believing anything until Konami comfirm it themselves and even then I'll wanna play it for myself, but after last year's hype filled fiasco they're veryfying all their sources before they confirm things. Listen before dismissing.

I expect it (Speculated it) to be a fixed PES 2008..

However, I hope it proves me wrong. And I guess, we can only wait and see.

That said, I've heard the interview with Adam.. Really liked what I've heard, it's reassuring to hear that PES09 will be very different to PES08.

Because that's all I'm asking from PES09.. I don't care about New Licenses, or an updated Master League -all- I care about is the GAMEPLAY and everything that regards IT. I'm NOT asking for something Revolutionary from PES09..

But I did wanted it to be a change of direction, a Significantly Improved game, a Different game -instead- of just another slightly tweaked game that felt exactly as the game it just replaced.

Now, I'm actually excited about this game, because it's (been claimed to be) something different.

Oh and I must add that, yeah the AI has been "massively" Improved.. that's really great News. However, What I really want to know now is WHAT will determine a player's AI?

What determines a player's off-the-ball Movement?? Is it the same Old Special Abilities -or- will it be determined by more precise Stats?

I was wondering, IF Master League Teams are playable for Online Play..

Does this means that I can play with a Created (edited) Team -or- is it strictly for Real Clubs??

^Either way it sounds awesome. I don't think they gave enough info so no one knows for sure I guess.

The fact that we will have to learn how to play it and pes 2008 ways not working is good enough for me :)

it means you can play with any team that is saved in master league mode, just like on 2008. If u edit a team, but moving players about, then load up a master league using them then u can take them online, but kit editing & team names revert to deafult, but the players do not. If you make a totally custom team using the master league create team function, u can take them online, but there's no way of assigning players to it other than buying them in master league, or selecting from the naff list. Just like 2008 (on 360)

Ok, what I want to know is -if- I create some Classic Players via the Editing Mode, and tweak with their Stats -can- I use those players in the Online Mode? Will their Stats (and Names) be the same??

For example, if I use Luka Modric's face to create Johan Cruijff -basically- if I create a player (from scratch) with the same face (number -if- the Editing is similar to PES5) as Luka Modric, and tweak with the Face settings, and then tweak his Stats to match something similar to what Cruijff was.. and then named him "Johan Cruijff".

Can I use the Edited (Created) "Johan Cruijff" in Online Play??

Can I use Created (Edited) Players in the Online Mode -or- is it strictly for non-edited Players??

And what's the difference -if- I make a totally custom team using the master league create team function??

Is there any possible way of playing Online with a created (edited) Team -without- the Kit Editing and Team name reverting to "default"?

If NOT, then that's a huge let-down for me... I mean, how cool would it be to play Online with an Edited Team Kit.

In my opinion, the less restrictive The Online Play becomes -the- better the experience will be.

this interview seems questionable...id like to see how the interviewee is connected to the development of the game...otherwise I'm going to be very suspicious

According to that audio interview on winningelevenblog, the edit mode allows you to create badges and sponsors again like in previous pes versions. Theres supposed to be over 80 different kit templates available too.

Sorry if you guys know this already but no one has mentioned it yet...

no idea on 2009, as online play is disabled for now. but in 2008 the only way to play online in a custom kit is if u start a master league season using the "create custom team" mode. but doing this means u cannot chose the players to go in and they are all gash.

so to answer ur question, i highly doubt it!! the only thing confirmed is that u can use ur master league team outside of the master league, which hugely hugely implies it is available online, just like 2008.

Well, ignoring the Customized Team Kits, Team Name, etc, etc.. Is it possible IF for example, I create a player from scratch -and- transfer that player to a Real-Club such as Villarreal (or any other Club).

If I'm playing in the Master League with Villarreal -and- I am playing in the ML with the Edited (Created) Player. Can I use a real club with an Edited Player in the Online Mode?? Or is it strictly for non-edited Players?

Because in any case, I can create the players I want (wich are usually Johan Cruijff, Diego Maradona, Romario, Valderrama, Matt Le Tissier, Ronaldo in his prime, and a few others..) and simply transfer them all to a Club such as Real Madrid.

If NOT, I will have to settle for the players available in the game. A less restrictive Online Play would really make a difference for me.

as far as i know all edited players revert to their default stats online, whether they are in master league or not. this is 2008 btw, have no idea on 2009 but i cant see that changing.
