Well, I think their article is more cautious than positive. That is for an 80-85% complete build of the final game. Compare their negative points with what we've got from the E3 play-testers (60% I think), we have the same negative points. Specifically the keepers issues. I see no progress. Although community day testers claimed that keepers issues have been ironed out. Anyway, I never trusted play testers for PES as they always gave a falsified impressions that always made me buy the game and discover their lies later.

Do people actually play this game with the left stick? The day we are forced to do this is the day I quit.

"For example, on the edge of the penalty area, you could use Neymar's agility to turn sharply and give a 'safe' short pass out wide before a defender gets near. Or you could gamble on Neymar's close-control, draw in two defenders, and burst into the box using the new trick system. You no longer hold L2 and perform Street Fighter-style stick taps like PES 2013, but use more intuitive right stick sweeps (controlling 'weight shift') in conjunction with the left stick (to indicate the 'ball delivery direction')."

And that second bit is a massive contradiction and just sounds awful. I'm not holding out any hope at all. Everything I read about PES14 I just think "oh ffs". We are getting mortal combat the football game.

To the keeper issues i definitely agree the removal of 1-1 keeper and penalty saver skill cards made a huge impact to the game!? It was much more difficult to score in older versions and some amazing saves all gone completely in 2013!? All that is left was big why inside me and nothing else.

PS ADD and to that and the removal of the shot technique from the players!? The bigger the number the biggest the possibility to score form difficult positions and you result into a game that any player can score like it is a superstar!? WHY WHY WHY WHY

That actually sounds pretty simple. You hold a button and direct where your moving to with left stick and sweeping the right stick will move the ball at your feet to change directions/flick the ball etc. Pretty much a similar style to the way it was a few years ago when right stick did the roulette tricks as standard.

I was on Fifa 2004 today, solely to check out some old songs and it made me realize how much of a disgrace it is that PES 2013 only has 8 songs. Fifa 2004 which was released about 10 years ago had approximately 30 songs. And that's without even getting in to the choice of music. ( I am English, no more than 10% of the songs should be sung in a foreign language otherwise it is just annoying).

I weren't going to post on this forum again but I just felt like I had to post one last time to get this of my chest, because Konamis laziness and virtual robbery of my money continues to piss me off, I was sick of the music on the game this year after a few weeks and had to mute the game every time I was on a menu. All because Konami think they can get away with cutting corners. Like they do in every other facet of the game. There is no other reason why they would include only 8 songs, think about it.

So I won't be purchasing a product from Konami again any time soon, don't be fooled by their trailers and slogans, they say the same every year and then realize a incomplete sh*t game, only a idiot would think they are going to chance in the space of 1 year.

When i get a game the first thing i do is to change the setting with the music to 0!? Stupid songs, stupid nicknames after the game and many vods the only thing they doing is to increase the time of installing a game!? I just press the escape button more often because all i care about is to play and nothing else.

We have problems with konami as we see less and less freedom of movement every year but this doesn't mean we will run to fifa!? Even the 'worst' version of pess is 100% better.

Jesus Christ. You again, complaining about songs. Are you mental or something? Nobody gives a flying fuck about how many songs there are in a football game!!

Uninstall PES, never buy another version (unless it has some cool songs), and get a Spotify account instead.

Keep it civil, folks. And FYI [MENTION=167169]damion[/MENTION] - some people like to have a nice varied soundtrack on a game, separate from their own music collection. There's no harm in that. I agree with him, 8 songs is a poor effort.
