Looks like the Wii will release in September. They announced that it is in production and once they announce it there is a law meaning they must release it in 2 months. Of course this will be a release in Japan, but it won't be that long after that we recieve.

Meh, I feel racing games are going to suck on this system OR they are going to be brilliant (if that makes sense). I hope they allow you to turn the remote sidewasys and use it as a steering wheel, but they may try and cram the controls into a different setup.

i think that they will have sorted out what they are going to do and i think they will have thought about it well and come up with a good controle system for the raceing games

it will flip over on racing games. I forgot what game it was, but I saw a video back during E3 which showed a Wii game (there were trucks in it) and it was played with the remote across, like gripping the handlebars of a bicycle.

Wii will release for £179 with the remote, the nunchuk and 5 Wii Sports titles on 1 disc.

You blew it Nintendo, if your the cheaper option then you certainly arn't the cheap option. It needed to be £50 cheaper and with a real game not a tech demo, because then it is too cheap not to buy. Games will also retail for £50.

Get the facts right gash; games will be £35-£40.

Also, Wii SPorts is more than a Tech Demo, it is a party game. And so what if all it does is show off the technical abilities of the Wii while having a fucking damn good time(according to all reports about wii sports?)

Oh, and what you have is an opinion. Just because you don't like the pricing, doesn't mean the 4million people who will buy one over the winter period won't.

That's Red Steel isn't it? Apparently it isn't as cool as it looks and plays more like a light gun game. There will be a truly great 'cover and fire' 'Resistance-esqe' shooter for Wii, but companies will need time to develop it.

Call of Duty 3 is my tip to be the surprise game of launch.

Also those worried with Wii and the whole "how will you play Pro Evo on that?', I would think that most Wii owners will keep their PS2 for their hardcore MGS, PES, GTA and GT gaming.

Im wondering if you can give me tips which will make me want a Wii. I have pre-orered one but do you think it looks good,There are good games but what about the graphics.
