Anyone heard the lastest news on the Wii?

Apparently the remote control is causing a lot problems, people are getting injured, the straps are coming off way to easily so Nintendo are going to make some changes. Not a good start for the Wii

Good Lord! It's catastrophic!
I got my Wii last Saturday and I can see it happening...specially with Wii Sports lol...
As for getting injured...they say "MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO OBJECTS OR PEOPLE AROUND YOU!"
Now they did their part...whoever got injured did not...
It's like driving a car...speed limit here is 120 km/h on highroad...now if I go at 180 and crash am I going to blame the car manufacturer?
Now whoever dislikes Wii will say it's dangerous, it kills and did not pass the safety tests!

GO PLAY FOKIN TENNIS.... people R swinging the wiimote like they're actually swords or rackets or what have you. fuck man, its a video game.. you kow how your mom taught you how to use your "indoor voice"?? well people have to use their "indoor motions"....

Yeah it's been going on for awhile but probably only just hitting the British media since it's just released. People just get way out of control. I have played Wii Sports and found that just quickly thrusting your wrist gets more power into a swing than taking a large swing. The Wii can detect the slightest movements.

Honestly, I have played Wii Sports even with my hands sweaty and have had no trouble with the Wiimote slipping out of my hands at all. People should atleast wash their hands. Have a towel or something to wipe your hands or something if you are going to get careless. I'm glad that they damaged their TV's, windows and even punching their girlfriend by accident because they kind of deserve it for not having half a brain.

Anyone know a place that has the Wii nunchuk's in stock? Also I don't have a clue how you can break anything with the Wii remote, it seems really difficult for the remote to slip out of your hand.

Got the Wii today and I cut my hand playing it already. Was playing baseball on Wii Sports and I slammed my hand into the wall and tore some skin.

Enjoyable so far though.

My little brother got his wii today. Its quite good although I would say I prefer my 360.

Been playing wii sports and I'm shite at bowling but ace at the rest. Also got super monkey ball and rayman. May head out in the morning and get Wario Ware and Zelda

I suggest you don't get Wario Ware, I thought it looked good but took it back the same day I bought it, just thought i'd warn you..

I don't know about where you live but every else I'm sure it is still hard to get one.

VC hasn't got No Mercy yet. Games I have are Donkey Kong Country and Golden Axe. You can also get:

The Legend of Zelda
Zelda II: The Adventures of Link
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (This one is recommended if you like the series, is one of the best.)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (You would probably be better with the GameCube version you get with The Wind Waker.)
Mario Bros.
Super Mario World
Super Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Super Castlevania IV
Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts
F-Zero

That is all I can remember. Some of them I want like the 3 Zelda titles and maybe some of the Mario ones aswell.
