I've red some where that Konami have decided to make the game more "realistic" this year. Well this game looks more like soccer if chimps were playing it!

Dont get me wrong I think the game is much better then the previous titles, but nevertheless it still sucks. I hate that it is so easy to dribble in Pro Evolution, even againt players that defend good. This is probably whats so worng with this game...

I play alot online and see how other players are playing - they always do the same thing, dirbble from the sides with Messi Ronaldo Kaka Eto and all other Superman players then they cross or pass back from the corner line and thats 98% goal each time. I've seen maybe 2,3 guys that really plays the game like real soccer, passing the ball around and thinking how to crack up the defence.

I'm so disapointed that Konami didnt manage to relize that real soccer is all about passes. I mean look at Barcelona, Arsenal, Man UTD, Real, Bayren, and all the other fantastic futbol clubs you dont see them dribbling themselfs to the championship.

Anyways I hope they do better next year (even though I tell that to myself each year:()

i actually think that except for messi ronaldo and kaka, its not that easy to dribble now compared to the ps2 days of PES,i used to be able to get pass everyone in the other team and score with my CB lol
but yes i do agree with you that it is very annoying when 90% of the people play like that online

In my opinion if your good enough you should be able to beat whoever regardless if they're using Messi, Ladyboy or Kaka, There is always a way to counter every tactic used by the opposition.

Yeah that's fine - but having to watch some muppet play football like that in the first place breaks your heart. It doesn't make sense and never will. And konami shouldn't let it happen, but they do, cause if they didn't the kids would flip to FIFA.

Excuse my french but thats a total bulshit!

I've played the other day with Togo against Brazil. For the whole game the other guy did nothing but run with Kaka all the time, I was playing so good with at least 5 absolut goal misses. In the end the guy turn on me with Robinho run thru my defence and scored.

Afterwards I played again with Togo against Spain, this one was more of a "player", he passed the ball to Toress and Vila and tried to dirbble with them. I've scored first, then he got a free kick used the kipper cheat (when you kick the ball high to the sky and the kipper acts like a cheerleadr in her period) and ofcurse its 1:1 then he used the other cheat with the new "smart" cross I've managed to clear the ball right to Toress feet and thats 1:2.

And the again the same thing with England, Argentina, Real, Barca, Till one guy took Portugal played on Ronaldo all the time and lost 3:2.

In my opinion PES went down the wrong route (the fifa route) a few years back with this, Problem is people now just want to win all the time, not interested in good build up play. Countless times now I have played people who just have one tactic - pass down line, ronaldo/kaka run, cross, benzema header. Normally you can beat them once you realise they only have one idea but makes you wonder where this game will go in years to come.

Try playing against a 600 rated player or higher using Real or Barca. It's a real challenge trying to beat these players even using Man Utd or Inter.

It's also really boring having to use the same shite tactics, doubling up on Messi or Ronaldo.

That's why I stopped with online altogether.

Every game I seem to be stuck doing the same old defensive tactics against Messi/Ronaldo/Kaka. It gets really repetitive, and I can't develop the type of game I want to play.

When Online, my game changes to fit those super dribblers that I don't enjoy it anymore. Every time my opponent gets the ball, it's back to chasing around Messi down the flanks, then sprinting up and down like it were a basketball game to even the score.

It's like there's an Online and Offline style of game, and offline is satisfying enough for me.

I agree with every word you say! I'm sick and tired of the way pepole are playing the game, but ofcourse thats Konami's fault.

But your post got me realizing something I never thought about before, It seams to me that the game offline has more intelligence then pepole online, which I find to be very funny.
