Is there any solution for a boring and annoying AI?
Let me explain.
Once I have the ball, the AI is defending with 9 or 10 players in the box. This is just boring, it is passing and passing in the hope I break this brickwall. Once I lose the ball they come out very fast (playing on counter or not). And when they have the ball and are passing around a little bit, I can't make that same wall as they have. My whole field lies open so its easy for them to go through and have a shot.
Second annoying fact.
Even with three players surrounding just one they just can't seem to take over the ball. They can push and pull the player all they want, most of the times he comes out with the ball, or has a lucky pass that bounces off the players straight in teammates feet.
I played fifa 12 before but also bought pes 12 now. I was hoping only fifa was boring with big all defensive walls, only to see pes was having the same problem.
No matter how fast my counter is, there is just a chinese wall in front of the goal.
Even with "all out attack vs all out attack" they seem to put up a wall, it's just boring.
People say fifa is scripted, but pes is following up on that.
Don't give you any free kicks, tackle on the edge, but still inside the box are counted out, throw ins that belong to you are not. Stupid goals against, stupid defensive touches.
There is even no logic in shooting. You can stand in front off an empty goal, wanna shoot straight down the middle, and it is just flying in at a random place in the goal. So, shooting is no skill, it's random.
Sometimes players make a very good run between the defence, you see, you pass and 9 out of 10 the pass is given to a complete different player.
It seems like it only happens in those final moments. If you pass circles in midfield the passing accuracy is 100% but once you need to give that final ball through, the game is just giving it to any player that is not one able to score
