wow, after reading this entire thread, im glad i never pre-ordered this mess of a game, konami have no fucking clue what they are doing.

league mode was essential to pes, and they take it out?

r.i.p.

pes

I'm an entirely offline player, and up until this year always played FIFA. Got PES this year and have ZERO REGRETS. No league mode is a negative, but it by no means ruins the game. Still the best soccer game I've ever played.

League and cups are in the game, download an option file such as the one from Daymos and play EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Asian Cup, World Cup you name it.

Same about the no Community though.

and how do you want to play Bundesliga if you can`t create a league with 18 teams? Get your facts right, nobody would complain if we could create league and cup modes like we want to

Konami:

Guys, In fact the LEAGUES DIDN'T DISAPPEAR !!
They are just under MasterLeague because, so they added the Possibilities to have Market Transfers and Player Development to ANY League (making it more realistic ). If you want a simple League the "old way" you just have to put the Player Development "OFF" and the Market Transfers "Just me" , this way you will not have to worry about old players declining, retiring or going to another club ! it's not that complicated. Let's stop complaining about this, including myself.

That's what we're forced to do now but it's just not the same at all. The ML takes like 3 times longer to get to actual matches because of those damned cutscenes and having to go through the calendar days. In the actual league mode, I can sort my tactics then jump straight to a match without having to worry about who wears which boots, keeping my players from starving, or which players are headed for international duty. Then when I'm finished with that match I can immediately jump to the next one hassle free. When you don't have all the time in the world this becomes really important because I'd be able to easily squeeze an extra game or 2 into my Pes sessions.

I also thought I'd never say this but the whole black boots ordeal is just ridiculous. Seeing every player run around with boots from the 1950s just completely takes away from the atmosphere. So no don't stop complaining about this and don't stick up for those idiots at Konami. I see absolutely no reason why they can't just patch this feature in and if they don't then I seriously question whether I should buy next year's game because then they'd just be milking people to buy the new version just for a feature that should be included and actually has been included since like forever. If they decide to continue and leave the mode out of their games from now on but at the same time not do anything about this Magic League nonsense then I'd be definitely done with Pes for good. Such a shame because this is the best football game I've ever played.

League Mode

Will Konami ad this via a patch, are they even considering it? When you think about it; it would be relatively easy to do!

Leagues

Is there absolutely no way to play one player league games in the EPL? Is there no option files or anything to do it?

I don't want to play in the champions league, or some obscure Brazilian league when i want to play one player, and I do enjoy playing one player rather than lagging online.

Yes.............In Become a Legend.......You will have to start out in different league and get signed by an EPL team.

I am currently playing Chelsea.

Come on guys. A Yes or no will do.

I think it's nigh-on impossible to add it with an option file, as that would involve changing the actual code of the game..... which is not what an OF is for.

EDIT - damion and Jeronimoe

I've combined your threads with this one.

People are saying well they are still there but in ML ...so just switch transfers off etc...what good is that for those of us who used to play leage mode with 2-3 4 or more human players??...Absoloutley zero because the ML/football life mode is only single player.....

After an 13 page thread and the rest.... plus people like me who have boycotted purchasing the game this year

I very very much doubt thiat the offline leage modes will not be their next year

I'm afraid it is the only way some of these companies who think they know better than their customers will learn

Buy hitting them where it really hurts!! in their pockets :)

Yes.

Download an option file that includes the EPL and NPower Championship (there's several on this site alone). Then begin a Master League, turning off transfers and player development if you so wish. Voila, you have a single player "League Mode", with actually a little bit more depth since you would have two divisions, as well as the usual FA Cup and Champions League competitions.

So, can a "League Mode" be made? Yes, via the ML options available. Easy enough.

It's threads like these that solidify just how improved PES is now - when the most complaints surround something slightly more trivial, such as a League Mode, as opposed to the gameplay itself, which might I add, is probably the best PES has created in many years. It's probably the best gameplay since PES6 on the Xbox 360 to be honest, and given that sports games are usually repetitive, their strongest asset has to be solid gameplay, in order to have people coming back to continuously play it. PES 2013 has succeeded I firmly believe.

A simple yet, effective solution. Good thinking.

you just..said it yourself "single player"

NOT GOOD ENOUGH.... so just stop trying diminish the problem because the truth is this has been a huge oversight and error of judgement by Konami and I believe it was to encourage finacial gain for themselves.....I nice Hit to their profits will soon make them realize who is right :)

Indeed, I did say single player - because damion was raising the query in relation to how he enjoys playing League Mode in "single player".

However, you believe Konami deliberately removed League Mode in order for financial gain? How does that work out? When I first heard that League Mode was not included, I began thinking whether it was an issue of disc space. We after all are coming to the end of this current generation of consoles, and it seems most developers are pushing the limits on what they can fit onto disc (some even releasing games with several discs).

I think Konami felt League Mode alone was mostly irrelevant in comparison to the direction they're aiming to go. I personally have never played League Mode with friends, nor can I remember anyone actually mentioning this before either. Konami clearly feel that now with Master League development and more online modes, that a simple League Mode is just primarily unnecessary.

Wouldn't taking out league mode save them money? Pretty sure it would as they won't have to pay for those licenses anymore. If this is the case then it's a bizarre move on Konamis part because the fact that they have never been fully licensed has always been a major flaw and cost them a lot of customers and this just seems like a further step in the wrong direction.

I'm wondering how many more pro evos will be made as they've basically shot themselves in the foot with cock up after cock up and sales have plummeted. I don't think they've ever listened to the community or they wouldn't have done half the things they've done. I mean, to take league modes out of a football game, and then trying to blame it on the community is completely baffling and an out and out lie.

quote from Davking "as somebody wrote on another forum its to do with these boot adverts popping up in mL. so forcing everybody to play the japanese role playing game final fantasy league. good old konami 1 step forward 2 steps back.
as they say on dragons den i cant invest in this so i'm out!!!"

So you see it is to do with Konami forcing their will on its customers..(there is advertising in the ML or have you not realized??).I Don't buy this argument about disk space ..it is not going to take much disk space to incorparte a few leagues..it,s not like you making new teams just a format (MODE) in order to play in a certain format

No Damion it would not save money because as so many keep pointing out all the leagues are still in the game only they are all inside the ML/football life MODE....the only major problem with it as far as im concerned "it is a single player mode" So turning off tranfers and player development etc doesn't cut it for me, and as well why cant we toggle between AI/human controlled like in previous editions..Now I can't even chill out with a spliff watching the AI paly and then take over...yeah thx konami...They go and disable the controller side check so that another human player can play for the AI... which i'd been crying out for for absolute ages only to remove the League modes or otherwise being able to play them wherby multiple human players can each have a team. other than Internationals or champions league

NOT GOOD ENOUGH
