No Transfer Among Other Teams

I'm not sure if you guys are experiencing this:

basically, while I am getting transfer requests from all sorts of teams, the teams themselves are not trading at all.

there are at most 3 transfers a season between teams I haven't even heard of before. Nothing is going on for the big clubs.

Do you guys have the same problem?

I checked transfermarkets, and there are no transfer between teams.

I sometimes see an individual player changing teams quite a bit. In my case Alaba and Varene have played for a few teams. But 6 seasons in, many of the teams have mostly the same players.

Same here, a player that gets transfered will likely be transfered a lot, but the teams don't change their squads that much. 90% of them still have 90% of the original players.

In short, another stupid scripting in the game, although this one doesn't bother me much tbh

I do see that these clubs that have the same squads bid for 5 to six of my players at the same time. Its ridiculous sometimes, I have 3 keepers and they bid for all my 3 keepers at the same time. You have 5 CBs, sure we will just bid for 4 of them at the same time. The huge offers they table for me, I am sure they can't spend money elsewhere (although I do dutifully negotiate for 2-3 times before gleefully ending negotiations ).

Another problem regarding AI signings. When I go the transfer news the AI teams always, and I mean always, buy players in groups of three. So the news always have three transfers for the same club in a row.

This is yet another point adding to the AI bids for our players. They usually make bids for 4 or 5 players at once. We are not stupid, and as these bids are often completely unrealistic, we discard them. Now imagine the same bids for an AI team? They accept them, and problems happen

Transfers are stupid in this game, it's way too easy to buy players for very cheap.

(If you're talking about the 9k trick) It's up to you how do you wanna play, I use that system sometimes, but only to achieve fees I consider more realistic.

I've no idea what that is, but I've had small offers for great players from other teams. For example Barcelona would always offer £8m for Sanchez. I would be able to buy world class players for no more than £20m.

The first problem is normal, as for the second I've never seen such thing happen.

For comparison, how much do they ask for Ronaldo? Or any other world class player?

When bidding for a player you add in your best player (highest overall rating) into the deal as a swap plus cash. Then you negotiate the deal down as low as you can until the 'face' is still green. At the final stage of negotiation you remove the player you've added with the deal and the face remains green, buying the player for 9k or 8k.

Master league is bugging me. So much potential, because I'm loving the gameplay, but the actual master league is hopeless!

On a side note regarding transfers has anyone sold a player in the January window? I say this as i haven't been able to offload players in this window for 3 years straight as no CPU team will table an offer! I can sell during the summer window alright. Would it be down to a lack of funds CPU teams may have?

Yes, I've sold one or two, but it is indeed very rare for this to happen. And no, it isn't due to lack of money, it's simply bad scripting by KONAMI
