Looks good, as it's something different then the usual "star player".

Woudln't even mind if they'd use it for the EU version as well.

Is that to save money by not having to pay a star? In general I think Konami lacks good marketing skills. Look a the the names: FIFA versus ProEvolution Soccer. Look at the TV advertisements - FIFA full of stars like Rooney and community feel; Konami - that dark, gloomy night match advertisement.
2012 box reminds me of a game that has no licenses and thereby shows off its weakness on the cover. Remember this?

Personally I liked the cover.

The question is, if you head over to WENB you can see these covers as well. Except the PC version's cover! Why the hell Konami always says the game comes out for PC in the US and in reality it never does!
