Here's the place to talk about your ML games, which option you picked to start with, how you're doing, who you've bought, your WEFA ranking and how good your Wayne Rooney has become etc

For me I went with my own created team, the option to keep real players seemed waaay too easy but I needed to replace a few oldies for some youth - so in came Milner and Rooney to play for AFC Scorpions (yes with a scorpion on the badge)

I've played 8 won 4 drawn 4 which is kind of shite but I'm still 2nd and Rooney is on fire with 8 goals 1 assist from in the hole, and top of avg points rankings with 7.11 I just bought Kompany in negotiations period so with my 3 young guns progressing brilliantly I expect to go on and win the league now

i also chose the option to create your own team, AC Abruzzi on 6*
C.Ronaldo,Kim Do Hoen and the great Gilardino.

C.Ronaldo is developing beautifully

one question though, after the match my players improve but after training nothing does.before every match i go to training and wait til it says Condition regulation complete then i quit training and go to the match.Am i doing this right or do i need to train longer?

I realised soon after I started that I could have nicked Ronaldo at the start I thought he'd be a bit more expensive then Rooney seen as he is a bit older and more progressed already, nevermind

Dont worry. The training that improves player's STATS takes place at the end of the season.

are you playing on the 6* difficulty mutu,by the way brilliant thread make sure everyone uses it though because it would be great to keep a log of master league history,how do you edit what teams take part in a league and are u doing a world league or national leagues

I chose the default squad then Fulham as the club. I picked up 5 youths who are all developing beautifully into great players. Except one who just got a season-ending injury at the tender age of 17, just as his stats were about to shoot up

I'm in Division 1 in League D and I'm 3rd, second season.

I noticed there wasn't this thread yet so I'll stick it up top so everyone can use it. And I don't have 6*s unlocked yet so no but 3 of those 4 wins were in the last 4 games so I'm gettin there - I only played one match before starting ML

I'm league A div 2, which has WE Utd, me, Norwich, WBA, Palace, Man City, Everton and Pompey. Div 1 has all the other Prem teams plus the Scots

I'm thinking of choosing the "REAL player" option but pick an average team and try to get them in to Europe and progress and make them one of the bigger teams in the country.

Teams like Rennes or Newcastle in England is tempting because they've got many youngsters in real life. (Jenas, Milner, Ambrose, Ameobi and etc.)

but i'm in a bit of a dillema. I also want to my my fav team AJAX European champions again but then if i pick them what league do i play in?? I dont want to play in Dutch league because each game is a walk in the park except ones against PSV vs. Feyenoord and i dont want to do a mixed league either because that'd be unrealistic

lol so many options and i don't know what to do.

hey mates great stories nice thread mutu well i'm in 3rd season now (2006) and my youths have progressed really well. One of 'em is a CB and he got MVP in WEFA My best buys though are Milner, Bojinov, C Ronaldo and Dagaka (Iran). Oh and Chivu the Romanian defender is good too, hes amazing in defence, plus he progressed well too. My Milner has a shooting accuracy of 90 now! In my last season Totti got injured for 7 weeks, which was a disaster for me 'coz of the bad bad timing... it was during Final season, cup and WEFA games. So i got Anelka on loan for 10 games (couldnt get him for less than that 'coz thats the minimum). Well, now everything's going fine except for the fact that Totti is in his decline form. I'll have to start warming up a replacement that would last me long enough.

i bought 3 japanesse players off the transfer market but there first game they couldnt play cos they were away ? does that mean the players go away for international duty ?? any one else had this ?

ive started a master league season with newcastle united witht he real players on 4 stars.

so far ive played 5 in the league lost one,drew 1 and won 3,shearer is class but his stats arre dropping down alarmingly whereas milner is coming on leaps and bounds his stats are shooting up with a few 20minute cameos.

bellamy is doing ok but kluivert has just taken his place,while hopefully get a few centre halfs when i get a few points cos bramble is BAD!!!

An hour ago while i was searching for a OMF during transfer period, i found a lot of regenerated players at the age of 17, like Batistuta and Hagi. I found this kind of cool because now you are the one responsible to make sure Batisuta becomes a legend I ain't sure yet but i think i bought Zola... the name sounds weird but his stats are sort of Zola-like.

I'm in my 8th or so season now and I just bought a 17 year old re-incarnation of Zidane but his stats are pretty rubbish and he's not going up especially fast. I bought Wright-Phillips too expecting him to get brilliant but he's not even improving.

Just a little note for those who are worried that their youths aren't improving......To my knowledge, there are 3 different types of development curves.

There is an average one, where the curve does not really vary much but they improve steadily each season.

There is a curve which goes very steep upwards very quickly, but also very steep downwards.

And a curve which resembles players like Dado Prso, where they only find their prime at middleage and will only be great for that time.
