Just discovered 'SpacialManuel' as a cheat.

I just went 4-1 up, so he paused for the whole time limit, and when the game restarted I had ridiculous button lag, which would seem to go and then return every time he approached my goal.

When he realised he didn't have time to win the lag worsened and the game was abandoned, with no affect on points or money.

Complete waste of time

For some reason ive been getting alot more lag cheaters then in pes 11/12. I really dont understand why its so hard to fix this. Atleast ban a few of the known cheats from time to time.

Nah I don't do any disconnect cheat I'm just laughing at how angry and upset the above poster managed to get over a match being abandoned.

It's happened to me a few times but mostly the players I'm up against have been fair and even handed out a few fairplay awards out towards those who've not resorted to hacking down my players in frustration when they start recieving their beatings.

Add 'xSSMCx Cignoweb' and 'ScOdE EG 27' to the list of pathetic lag cheats.

It's the shame they're all foreign as the insults I would love to send would just be wasted on them.

It's annoying that there is no record of the match so you can't even blacklist them afterwards

This online disconnection and cheating were extremely frustrating in PES 2011 and 2012. You would have thought the developers and Konami would have acted, but I don't think they care. I have tried numerous times trying to get in touch with their developers and design team to offer my suggestions. But they appear not to care.

I think a potential solution is a system that discourages cheating by making it little benefits to gain from cheating. One approach is that each player has to pay a bond before they play an opponent in an online match. The bond is held until the match completes successfully.

If the match fails to complete successfully, the bonds paid by all parties are held until the end of the week for a tribunal review (can be a computing process) or can be paid back immediately if both parties agree that the match should be abandoned and no one should be punished (e.g. through a match response card - opponent cheated, program crashed, poor connection).

Over time, cheaters will be discouraged from cheating because they will lose their bonds as a result of cheating and face the inconvenience in cheating. It will get to a stage where everyone wants to finish the match and avoid disconnections. And those who fall victims to the cheaters will gain their bonds back at the end of the week, so they aren't punished like they are now and have been in previous years.

In addition, players that have a poor connection maintenance and fair play record do not get a bonus payment that may come as rewards end of week.

In my eye, this is a simple solution that I really think will work.

Konami won't do much.

It is because of online cheating and strange connection dropouts that I didn't get PES 2013. Games are meant to be fun, not something to be annoyed over (as it is with PES MLO).

Your On To Something ..but last year they had half the solution when you had less than 7o per cent finishin matches you couldnt go into the competitions now the comps are full of cheaters which lag you out and get 3 nil wins for disconnecting you which is BS:realmad:.
the latest thing they are doin is "ip flooding" they send so much data to your router causing the connection lag ...then if that doesnt work they send too much data and overload your xbox router port which then sends you back to the football life main menu screen

I haven't named and shamed before despite having my fair share of people who've done it as I think it can happen and I've had a guy accuse me of lagging when I wasn't doing anything, just my connection was rubbish during storms etc.

However I've just 'played' Kernel7 on PS3 MLO. I was suspicious to start when I checked his profile- tam strength 933, over £248 mill and all the big players on his team. Started off and the match was ok, no real problems, he scored one with Ronaldo who was just too fast and then a dodgy but fair enough OG to get him 2-0 up. I then got his style (long diagonal through ball) and put pressure on him, his keeper took me out when through on goal but only gave a freekick and a yellow (no complaint, shoulda been red but that's not his fault just very cynical). Then a lovely strike to make it 2-1, then the lag got a bit worse but pressure on his defender and I knicked a shot in to level it just before half time. He let the time run right down and the lag was really bad, the power bar shooting up both before and after I received the ball etc but I adjusted and managed to score a goal from the edge of the area to go 3-2 up. He paused the match and then I was disgusted when it disconnected due to poor connection quality. aaargh! I was buzzing about beating this guy, was gonna get a nice payday out of some sort of result and there I was having wasted a match. Really hate guys who only play to win, what's the point- I play because I enjoy playing Pro Evo, win, draw or lose why do people insist on taking the fun out of it!

Please Konami at least try to do something to help the genuine gamers who are becoming disillusioned!

The sad thing is Konami hasn't done anything about this in years. They engourage people to lag, cheat and foul from behind.. After each match players should be able to rate each other on:

Connection
Fairness

Then, as the system choses players with similar skills now, you also get the players with similar connecion speeds and fairness. That way the fuckers can be among themselves. Problem solved. But Konami is just too fuckin retarded to even think of something like that.
