online match making menus need improving

i am coming back to this game since switching to fifa09 and the gameplay is great but what is not is the online menus.

90% of the time I cannot get a game online and I just give up (if it doesn't hang) after it tells me it is trying, over and over.

This really needs a lot of work as i do not want to sit staring at my screen for 10 minutes trying to get a game.

Plus it takes about 5 minutes to get to the start menu from booting up after it seemingly scans the internet for changes since i played it yesterday.

you may own the pitch but you certainly do not own online multiplayer...sort it out or i will have to go back to sweat-fest as at least i can get an online game started.

Agree completely! Also went from PES 2008 to FIFA 09 as PES really went downhill after PES 6. This is the first PES I have bought since PES 2008 and I remember the online matchmaking being an issue on PES 2008 and the matchmaking menus looked exactly the same back then. They haven't changed anything whatsoever in 7 years!

The gameplay is awesome! PES really feels like it's back gameplaywise but everything in the game EXCEPT the gameplay really sucks.

Come on Konami, a majority of online players are having online matchmaking connections issues, you launch a mutiplayer game that's not fit for purpose, the game should have been beta tested properly, a lot of your customers like myself are really getting p....d off with your diabolical server issues, get your game that I paid 45 GBP for sorted out, or like any product a consumer buys thats not fit for purpose, i will be returning this game to your HQ for a refund

not tried to play in a week, i see nothing has improved.

same rubbish connection issues, they shouldn't be allowed to get away with this crap.

it should say on the back of the box that online is a feature that only works sometimes.

what is a point of a great game if you can't actually start a match?
