took a page outa zyg's book by being the unelite teams.
I was Ireland playing brazil. im gonna be short because im tired beat this guy 2-1 in a tight game that was 1-1 and gave him a rematch. and beat him comfortably 2-0.
Choose newcastle for my next match against man utd. didn't really have many chances and i lost 1-0.
My next game i was everton against man utd. early goal for him from a corner rooney the tart scored. i managed to get a nice goal with a devasting through ball beattie made sure 1-1. Was 1-1 all game i recieved some pressure i tell ya. anywhhhoooo 2nd half of extra time on golden goal setting. I play a thru ball which looks like its going nowhere. rio suddenly moves out the way leaving beattie totally 1 on 1 and once again made sure 2-1.
You just get a nice warm feeling when you beat somone with the crapper teams. Because you know their like " i can't believe i lost to everton hahahahahaha "

We beat rank 50 he was chelsea and we were..... Sheffcor Domake! 1-0 goal towards the end of extra time, vonei!!! However we did play a bit of a defeatist formation with our equivilent of an 8-2 setup! 5 defenders 3 defensive mid's right in front of them and a blue blip saying that we are ultra defensive! Doesn't matter though we beat Chelsea Rank50 with Sheffcor! Get in

In the first week or so i had a match against a higher ranked player. He chose AC Milan so i chose Inter. I was pretty dominant but was losing 3-0...HA! Anyway, 89th minute came and i got a goal didnt care that much. From the kick off i took the ball and got the 2nd to make it 3-2 to him. Again from the restart he tried to run the ball into the corner to kill time but i took it and gave it to adriano. From about 25 yards i shot and it hit the crossbar and bounced back to the keeper. I lost but it was probably the best match ive had online. :laugh:
Last night I beat someone in one of the higher divisions. He picked Chelsea and I was Milan. He had a front-three as high up the pitch as they could be, a staggered midfield and his back four crowded around his goalkeeper. It was easy to get down the wings and after beating him 1-0 in a balanced game, he threw his toys out of his pram and started calling me a "shitter" and saying "I was all over u u jammy bastard". Unfortunately I lowered myself to his level and told him to "get some decent fucking tactics". Tosser. At least if I lose I take it.

My favourite story is one of dramatic fairy tales. So brace yourself! Ok maybe not that amazing but i certainly enjoyed it. I was playing this rather horrible person and i was not playing well, anyway so i dont go on he was winning four one, and for the past two goals he decided to taunt me saying " EASY EASY EASY!" and "your pathetic!" Anyway that rather annoyed me, i dont mind losing but to people like that i got rather upset. Anywhoo yes you guessed it, i came back and scored three goals in the last fifteen minutes! Final score 4-4. It wasnt a win but that come back is def my favourite as the little bugger wasnt taunting me at the end, he didnt say a thing and left. HE HE HE I enjoyed that game!

Well, my story's not quite as good as that.
Was playing this guy called Robblake (ranked hundred and something) with 70%+ wins from about 500 games. I thought it would be interesting to play him and so asked him for a game in the lobby.
He picked Barca and i was Arsenal. He played a 3-5-2 with players spread evenly around the field and i played a 4-4-2 for some balance. I scored 2 quick goals within 17 mins with Pires and Henry and that was about as good as it got. Thereafter though i missed a shit load of chances which i'm so angry about now but oh well.
Anyway, i was containing him easily until about the 75th minute when he got a break with Ronaldinho to easily run round my keeper and slot it in. After that, it was like i had no control over my players. He was just running round me so easily and it was blatent my players were playing shit (it wasn't lag i think the players were tired).
Then he gets a corner, which he passes and plays about 5 more passes; the last one to Dinho who somehow found himself free in front of the keeper! 2-2. I knew at this point it was a matter of time til he got his third to win it, and exactly a minute later, (85th), he gets free (AGAIN) with Eto'o and runs round Lehman to score. I lose, he wins. Just like that, victory was snatched from my sweaty plams.
I said at the end 'I cant believe that' and he answered, 'Unlucky mate your team did a Liverpool'. Then he added me as a friend, what a player he is though. I've been going through a bad run lately, (played 10, won 7, drew one and lost 2).

I was ranked about 67-69, now I'm ranked 73. Rank means nothing anyway. I play some amateurs who are harder to beat than people in Div 1. When i resume school after these holidays I'll be playing a lot less though, my GCSE's will be very soon, very soon indeed.

Yeh I still play the game offline a lot, but online is just so much more fun in my opinion.The satisfaction of beating someone else, rather than the computer. Good ranking mate, I was ranked about 1000th but I'd only played about 120 games.Im currently on a 10 match winning streak so if I ever get the cable back I will be looking the continue it.Anyway, good luck for the future and how far in terms of points are you off first place etc?Its true what you say about rankings actually.I beat the number 18 rank in my 3rd match, which he must have gone into thinking I would be shit...so yeh.

I dunno, I keep asking my mum for it but she just will not give it back. And to be honest if I have any chance of getting it, it's likely to be over Christmas. I'll keep asking though and if I get it i'll be sure to let you know so we can play. Nice best streak you got there, my best ever was actually 11,I'm just on 10 at the moment. Just played a decent player, 68% Wins, he immediatly choose Chelsea so i decided to give porto a go, anyway after 10mins he sprint down the flank wif Duff cuts back, crosses far post to joe cole who head bottom corner. So rest of first half i dominate, 6 or 7 chance wasted. Around 10minutes in i play a couple of passes then a sweet lil through pass to Diego who slots it home top corner, great . My opponent gets annoyed and uses his old tactic of pegging down the line again, by this time its so predicable i easily prevent the cross.. Then around the 75th minute i get a break down the left side, the argentinan guy (gonales?) uses some lovely skill to get past 2 players cuts inside and bends a sweet cross far post to a unmarked Quaresma, who volleys the ball into the opposite top corner....Stunning. And then last 15mins i jus calmly keep possesion.

Talking of players who ripp you apart, i played this guy who to be fair absolutely pounded me with ronhaldinho wide on the left. I put man marking on him and still my player just left him wide and free! that annoyed me. I lost 5-3 and i think every goal was by ronhaldinho tearing apart my defence and either scoring from every angle of squaring it for a tap in!
