Last day was incredible, i played with Chelsea and the other guy played Inter, i dominated the full game but can't score and he scored me in the minute 89.
Well, i scored two goals in the extra time, it's true! After his goal i scored with Drogba after a Lampard pass. It was the extra time, i get the ball and Gudjhonsen dribbled four guys and socred my second!
It has been my best moment playing pes on line...

Well, just played three hours of the most fun i've had on pro in a while.
Decided i would make a new account (from my previous 78 ranked one-Stallion), rendering myself an amateur. I named it 'I_love_Fifa'.
I just went about challenging random people in Div 1, one of which was indeed Genius 274 who gave me the best game of all. If i remember correctly, we were 2-2 until the last kick of the game where i scored, unlucky mate. (I didn't realise you were on this site until i saw your last post).
After i played Genius274, i played this other guy called 'PostieBrett', ranked 63, who welcomed me into the room by saying 'Fuck Fifa!', fair enough. He was AC Milan, i was Inter, to make it a derby.
At half time i was up 3-0 (on his host). Of course he wasn't very happy and said 'Your mum is a smelly paki', then proceeded to disconnect. Whatever, i get the three nil.
I played a couple more people including some guy ranked 23 who created a 10 minute match room. I joined, and then he made it 5 minutes. I said, 'No, 10'. He changed it. I subsequently pressed X, and in a flash he had restored the 5 minutes and BAM. He said 'ha ha'. I didn't get angry, after all, it's the oldest trick in the book, hence being my fault. He beat me 1-0 by scoring on his host then defending completely (10 men behind the ball) for 2 and a half minutes. Ahh well.
I think i might stick with my new accounts, then delete them and start all over. At least games are fun and i don't have to accept being hacked down every time i get the ball, just because of my rank

I played someone called STD last night (the name should have given it away really!) who was a real wanker. He was 4-2 up and he started saying that my mother enjoys crack of a weekend. Or to be precise "Yo momma is a crack hoe!".
Now I can understand being naffed off if you are getting beaten (still don't condone swearing or abuse though) but when you're winning? What the f¤¤%?
Why would you do that? It got me so riled up I scored another to bring it up to 4-3 but I didn't have time to score a fourth.
Secondly, as far as I know, my mother has never tried crack and to be fair she isn't much of a hoe either.
So stay well clear of STD ('s).

Just played dick'ed called DANMUFC, anyway start of the game he was mouthing off saying he was going to kill me an all that, I was liverpool & n he was Man Utd., first half 0-0 and again he starts sayin how bad a player i am, so i end up hammering him 3-0 He demands another game this time hes England and i'm Italy, 2-0 up at half time and he disconnects.

I see a lot of people players not to play, but there is a guy called walproevoluc who gave a really good honest game.
I went 1 nil down (he was Brazil I was Juventus) early on and he was all over me. But from nowhere I gave it to Ibrahimovic, who immediatley Flip Flaped it, cut inside, and curled it into the far bottom corner. He then went 2 - 1 up and he regained control. Again from nowhere (again) I hit him on the counter, drew the keeper out, slipped it sideways, for Del piero to slip it home. Walpro said "nice counter", and as it was my first match online I began grinning like a 7 year old in a choclate factory. I then went 3 - 2 up then 4 - 2 and rapped up an Ibrahimovic hatrick with a huge header, to make it 5 - 2. He said it was "humiliating" and managed to pull one back to leave a final score 5 - 3.
Great match, and I gave him a rematch in which he beat me 1 - 0. I'm going to certainly try and play him again sometime.

Not much of a story really, just a sad, sad turn of events. It seems I have lost the ability to win online. I played 5 matches last night and I lost every single one.
Now I know you'll all say something along the lines of "it's because your shit" but I have been doing pretty well recently. But last night nothing worked.
Oh well, anyone want to spank me tonight (matron)? Server 3 Room 3.
Oh and on a lighter note, one of the guys I played yesterday was a nice lad and had only compliments to dish out which was a breath of fresh air. He even had a very funny goal celebration. He said "I'm terribly sorry Old Bean". Which made me piss myself. Just the thought of some country gent sitting in his stately home frantically playing PES5 is very funny.

I think I might. I have a 4-3-3 formation at the mo with Robben and Duff almost out on the wings (but still very offensive) and Crespo alone at the front which makes scoring quite difficult.
Any suggestions zyg? I feel as though I need a more effective attacking set up. Diagrams would be useful

Scraped a draw in the next and started winning after that. I have learned not to get wound up, not to rush and to keep probing. Ahh serenity now.

Played a guy in div 1 called 'HisMajesty' yesterday. He was Arsenal, i was the mighty Wigan after a brilliant guess that they were Lancashire Athletic.
Was all over him in the first half, with minor lag, but didn't manage to score due to less than desirebale finishing.
At half time, he said, 'Ur takin the piss mate' :laugh:
I ended up winning 1-0 thanks to a header from Camara on 73' mins. Next i played some other guy. I chose West Ham, and to my surprise, he picked Everton. The game ended 1-0 to me. It's so fun playing with shit teams

Back in Bolivia for a few months so my online experience has taken a serious nose dive, so reading your stories gives me a slight reminder of what I am missing. The positive is I am playing the Master League so my skills should be well honed by the time I return giving you guys a tougher game, if I didn't already before!
Can anyone tell me if the LAG issue has been addressed at all, or will it just have to be accepted to the release of PS3?

Lag? It depends on who you play so stop playing people who don't have the green arrows. We have to get used to the half-second delay in the buttons working but that's great compared to pes4 online.
I wanted to play 2 quick games last night and both turned out to be against tag-teams, Chelsea and Barca. drew 1-1 and won 2-1. The dual-player nubs should go and find their own kind in a special-needs lobby.

What if you never played the X-box version online so can't say it's an improvement? It can be very annoying because all i can compare it to is the first 3 weeks of playing when it didn't lag at all, ever! Now, my opponents lag relatively badly (even on green) while i give them decent games on my host (I know this because i ask them afterwards).Zygalski said:

It can be annoying when it's 2 vs 1 and you didn't anticipate it (weren't told). Good to see Familymahone still out doing us all in losing streaks! I went thru this about 3 weeks ago. i couldnt score or win (not going to if you dont score) for about a week. I kept changing formations and teams but nothing worked. i have got a lovely formation that I use now. Play one wide right but still as a midfielder and two central strikers. They are close together and use one twos to work into the box and notch.

Fair enough it arguably makes attacking harder for them, but when defending, having 2 controllable men plus another 2 A.I "pressers" (unless I'm mistaken and they're only allowed one?) makes it really difficult to break them down.
I consider it a bit of a cheat actually.

Played the Boogyman last night. Dortmund v Villa. I can honestly say I have never played anyone as dirty as that in all my life. Every time I got a touch of the ball the Villa players were diving in feet first, the ref was very lenient as was proved when Koller was hacked down from behind when clean through on goal. Yellow card for his defender Delaney was all the ref showed. I fell behind shortly afterwards to a counter-attack and was hit with a second early in the second half. The ref finally showed him a red card on 60 mins and big Koller pulled one back on 70 mins. Alas it wasn't good enough as the time-wasting went into overdrive. I got beat 2-1 in the end with a foul count of 24, 2 yellows and one red card for the Villa. What a dirtbird.

Just played some guy in div 1. He said clubs, so i chose West Ham. However, the little cheat decided he didn't want to play clubs anymore and was heading towards Brazil; at which point i frantically cancelled... but, too late. The damned timer ran out when i had only reached Costa Rica in a desperate bid to pick Argentina. The guy then started saying 'Lol', 'Haha you silly cunt' and 'Ima woop ur ass'.
Bear in mind, i was using one of my amateur accounts, yet he still did this. So, it was to be Brazil versus the strength of Costa Rica. I was relatively relaxed and played a 5-4-1 defensive formation. The first half was one of the longest i've endured online. The combination of lag, and the sad fact that my players could NOT make more than 3 consecutive accurate passes meant I could barely get out of my half let alone have a shot on goal.
Fortunately for me, this guy missed some of the most glaring of glaring chances (2 open goals and a penalty included). Divine intervention anyone?
Anyway, the second half commenced. The first 20 mins pretty much panned out the way the first half did with his total domination, and my players' lack of basic passing ability seemed to deteriorate further. Anyhow, i was comfortable defending against his style (pass to Dinho on the wing, cut in, cut back etc) and opted for a bolder 4-3-3 to try and snatch the game in the closing 10 mins. I made all three subs (just picking anyone with at least green arrows). By this point, he had said 'U suck dick', 'Ur Shit etc on numerous occasions during cutscenes after his constant misses.'
So, its the 85th minute, he's just cut back (or at least tried to, but it rolled tamely into the keeper's waiting arms) and my keeper places a long throw out to the feet of one of my players. It takes him an age to control it, but he plays a lovely through ball to my striker. He takes it in his stride, runs past Cafu ( I know!) and crosses the ball into the box. Dida just misses his punch, and IT'S IN!! A header by some short costa rican who happens to be standing there unmarked!!! I win, he loses to Costa Rica!! Haha
At the end of all the drama, he left the room quietly, tail between legs and i returned to find he had gone offline :laugh:
