From Pes 2008 - 2011 the online modus still Laggs. I cant understand why fifa,call of duty ... can make a lagfree online modus where you can play like offline and konami cant do it since 3 years. KONAMI, will you fix the online modus ? Otherwise i will sell the game because i want to play online .

Yes - unfortunately it is laggy again and i ask myself why you guys from konami do not just fix it???
I am a fan from the first hour, means i bought every title - from part one to eleven. So i spent over 700 euros on you guys and you are not able to deliver a playable online-mode??? It does not mean that i don´t love this years code - you really made an awesome job! When i played it the first time, i found myself the first time since three years with just a big smile on my face on my couch! But then i went online ...
Is it because you are not willed to deliver the right servers!
Is it a software-problem?
Is Pro Evo just using more information to deliver over internet compared to for example Fifa?
I tried out FIFA 10 today because i wanted to be sure that not my private network or my internet connection is the brake for online gaming - but i played fifa 10 ONLINE like OFFLINE!!! And this is how it should be with PES because this great game just deserves a well working online-mode! And i really cannot understand why you guys from konami destroy your own hard work on the title with a laggy online-mode!?????
Invest money for well working servers or an extra online-development-departmend - because we paying customers deserve a working online-mode as you deserve as producers!
Or an idea for you: start a talent-competition in programming a working online code for PES - the winner should join your team

It is a lot better compared to other versions of the game. I'm the same as Melonman, I've spent cash on every PES theres been. I really like this years version online, I haven't had any difficulties or lag, its really just at the start of the game then it calms down for me.

i have played 30 games and only lag today as i think the servers are getting ready for dlc download i use ethernet as wireless only gives u up to 6 meg on ur gaming i checked it out so i bought the biggest ethernet cable i could get now its great

I totally agree Melonman, I too bought every version of this game & get increasingly frustrated at the lack of professionalism from the producers of this game. I've started playing ML online & the response of the controls is beyond a joke. Just played my 3rd spaniard on the bounce & the lag is unplayable. I know its not my connection as i play other online games & have just upgraded my connection to 10meg on a wired connection. ANy other industry would sack the team responsbile & recruit someone capable of delivering a result. another thing that annoys me is how defenders will constantly catch up a winger who is twice as fast hitting them on the counter yet in 4 yards gets closed down, wtf??
I spoked to some guys while w eplayed..all of them had way better connections than mine,one was german other were english,they all said they had lag probs....

so whatcha gonna do KONAMI? just keep it like that? fine...next year i won't buy PES and so is all my buddy's. it's a shame, we really like this game but online mode just gets us frustrated and angry. we feel cheated by you as we paid for online but got nothing!

yes. I agree.. something must be done. I almost never see lag as most people know it. it's the overall performance, speed and responsiveness that can change from game to game, or even within the same game. It's nothing sort of frustrating as the game came be brilliant one moment and feel horrible the next. I play both Fifa and PES and can't understand why Konami hasn't been able to give us decent online performance since WE9. (im in the USA)

I don't get it, this thread is supervised by konami so they can get feedback right? Well this thread is a list of guys, myself included, just begging for at least an explanation as to why online is so poor. Why is there no response from konami.
Online is the way to play most games these days, I love pes but i'm only interested in playing online mostly these days and it's hugely frustrating that in three years they haven't been able to get a decent online service up and running.
Maybe they have some really good reasons but if so I want to hear them.

your online version of the game is just rubbish im afraid. the lag is terrible and is nothing like the offline game, which means you have to resort to long ball or time wasting tactics to hang on. its so poor compared to other online games like fifa and COD. and what is the point of having to pay make believe points to play against someone else. POINTLESS!! the ranking system doesnt make sense as last night I played someone in div 1 i'm in div 3 and it was 0-0. he got 5 points for the draw and I lost 10 points... again PUZZLING....

I can't say the game is rubbish lol,but couple of things is really frustrating me too.
For example,my opponent has few times bigger budget and stronger squad of MLO team than me,aswell he has all supastar players like Ronaldo,Messi,Gerrard,Lucio,Alonso,Xavi,Arshavin,etc and I have not any of them.
But if he has less of rank points and I'll draw him,I'll definitely lose the points :shocking:.What da hell is going on,Konami?
Same story is about the lag.I did some experiment month ago - usually I'm on 12Mbs connect,but I had change it to 20Mbs,and later change it once again to 40 Mbs.
Tbh,it was really easy to feel the difference between 12mbs and 40 mbs,when I was playing CoD or some other game with online mode.
But no any fecking difference for Konami server,it was lagging on 12Mbs,and its was lagging absolutely the same way on 20 or 40mbs,really.

Online is rubbish... Konami can't afford good servers. What is the point.
