I've played 4 matches in the last 2 days. 3 of the 4 have been against Brazil. Out of all the matches I've played 95% have been against brazil. My only wins have come when people weren't Brazil. It is boring to always play against them but I'll keep playing because I like the game.

Maybe I should search for club only matches but most people don't set it that way.

Good thing I can play against my brother sometimes. He doesn't mind playing with various teams even the crappy ones.

I know this is a dead forum but I thought I've have a rant.

Edit: If I didn't make it clear I'm saying it doesn't take a lot of skill to murder me with Brazil. I may not be the best player but I have won games online.

Yeah, unfortunately that's the state of society today. I've never picked Brazil but always end up against them or Barca. To be successful you must fully respect the attacking power of teams like that because they are geared towards attack. Focus on defending and counter attacking. It's really the only way to beat a one-dimensional opponent like that. I would not recommend trying to patiently build up play. You'll get caught on a counter or insanely fast winger and boom game over.

Yes Barca and Man U the competitors in Champions League Final are the most commonly picked club teams.

The most ludicrous thing was when I looked in on two others playing a match and they were both Man U!!

Yeah the strategy you described is what I'm reduced to. It usually ends up me losing 4-2. I know exactly how my opponents are going to dribble but my defenders can't physically keep up. I started picking defenders based purely on speed and that helps a little.

Sorry for the misunderstanding but I thought you were referring to PES 2010, and just overlooked that this is a PES 2009 forum. Sorry!

Well all the same words still apply. :shocking:

Thanks for the comments anyway.

I guess there wasn't much "Evolution" between the two games in that case. :D With the online and number of issues addressed, this could actually be a really addictive game. And yes, Barca v Barca or Brazil v Brazil is very common online, as I have witnessed too. What is this, Street Fighter 4?

Lol Street Fighter 4. While I have someone answering I wonder if you could tell me your experience.

I try to play with one friend some nights each week. Sometimes we connect with green dots but sometimes we get a red x. Is there something we can do to always get green or is it pure luck? Are the servers down sometimes? This is pes 2009 if it makes a difference.

That does not surprise me as the connection quality is very unpredictable in this game. I have played against some friends that have green dots one day, and red dots another day. I wish I knew a solution to this but I do not. Sorry.
