I think this place is in dire need of a filter forum seperate from the main board for when new registered members are introduced. So they can have a trial probation period where the intelligent ones get promoted and the less competent posters just remain there until they learn to grow up, become decent posters and respectable of others, to earning their right to be promoted to the main forum. Or if the mods notice that they obviously dont have the capacity to ever qualify to those standards and are lost cases with no hope, then just ban them or let them rot there arguing amongst themselves.
That way the mods can weed out the good from the bad posters and up the quality to the forum as a whole - Those who come here for genuine debate and clearly demonstrate they can actually read,comphrend others and put forth their own valid point. While the ignoramuses who come on board to simply offer nothing more than petty wind ups and post cheap one liners can be shielded away from the main boards.
This urgently needs to be put into place here. Since my short stint in this forum, I've seen and noticed so much crap being posted that makes absolutely no sense, to the point where the forum is chock-a-block mostly with mongs with limited compass of knowlegde of the game or actual real life, making it a chore to actually find a decent dababe which just makes my blood boil as this clearly diminishes the quality of the content found on the site.
Having to trawl through dross just to get to find something decent going on once in a while shouldnt be the standards set here. Then when you challenge these clear wind ups, who are enclosed and enwrapped in a deluded bubble of cyber unreality, they have nothing to say to explain themselves in a decent manner and are left to get away with it.

If new members are in their own area, they can't come here to ask PES questions, potentially can't read PES threads and basically won't bother coming back to the site.
We need to work to minimise the time mods and admins need to spend doing things on here in general.
In relation to those points alone, tell me how this could work positively because from where I'm sitting, I just don't see it working even if it does seem necessary.

Not necessarily, the plan is that this new member filter forum is a part of the main board which they will be able to view but will be exempt from posting in there until promotion. If they have any questions that any other newbie member besides themselves is unable to answer, they can direct them to the mod assigned to that part of the forum. That mod or admin can gather any new factual information, news and updates taken from the mains, and provide it in the new members section if it is relevant
Their forum can be a mini replica of the mains including having their own sub sections containing, edit and option file area, along with pes and general football discussion. Obviously limiting out the extra sessions of the main forum so there is incentive to want promotion.
This will limit the time for you and your mods because they wouldn’t have to keep an eye on these mongs 24/7 because the idea is that this filter forum would be hidden from public view unless registered, you wouldn’t have to keep giving out infractions, as they’ll be on probation for however long you see fit. You basically lay down the rules once, and warn them that if they cannot stay civil, then they will just be delaying their chance of promotion or worse, banned.

We'd still have to keep an eye on them because we'd still have to ensure they're behaving - if someone is abusing and insulting another member in that area its the same as them doing it on the main forum.
More sections in a second area is asking for trouble - its twice as much space to moderate and we've enough problems with people posting in the wrong section as it is.
You've also stated a situation or two where MORE work is required by admins or mods and that's a definite no-no.
What you fail to realise is that a lot of people come here to ask one question and leave. These posts, asking for help, will not be searchable via Google because they are hidden. As such, less people will be drawn here from searches related to the same problem as it won't be able to see them.
I'm not just being negative for the sake of it, I just don't see how it can possibly benefit us. There's also the matter of subjective allowances - for example, I might consider you a decent member while another staff member might think you're an idiot. What do we do in such a situation? Post about it, causing us to spend even more time on here? That's not really going to work.
I know there are plenty of users in the PES areas who cause headaches or need to learn to behave and communicate properly but there's little we can do that we're not already doing.

Fair enough I can see where it can add to workload and extra space where you are already struggling with whats on your plate as it is. I dont know how many mods you have at the moment, if its limited then obviously this idea is going to be a problem, but if its surplus then I dont think one or two personnels manning an extra few sections, where they'll be just making baseline decisions on who they see fit is worthy or not, while just copying and pasting basic information into that new section is too much extra work.

Replicawatch is a spambot, All forums get spambots but this one is a serious one. I have clearly, very bloody clearly, showed you a filter forum WILL NOT WORK so why do you insist on flogging a dead horse and annoying me with such a statement?
A filter forum will fragment and ultimately kill this website while increasing my workload more than two-fold. I have a life thanks - and a job.
