Option File Limit Count?

In years past, when installing, it would tell you how much space was left. This year, I am not seeing that info. Konami being Konami, I can not imagine that this year is without limits.

Am I missing where it shows how much space is left?

Appears they also removed the feature to choose what the team imports over......Sucks as great to use to see if there was team conflicts before installing a team.

Seriously? Why removing useful features? Why can't they add new things without replacing others? It's completely stupid.

So how do we even change destination slots now? wtf

can only imagine how much useful editing stuff they put to waste over the years!

two steps forward, five steps back

I am more concerned about not being able to change destination slots compared to image limits.......been use to the image limits, but gonna make a hell alot more work not being able to use the destination feature.

I don't think they removed the limit... Imagine importing thousands of kit images... it would be a real pain to scroll through them all everytime we wanted to edit one.

But still, no limits would be really nice... We could just create new accounts and have infinite option files, one on each account.

When someone finds out please share here (I don't have the game yet or I'd test it myself, importing all my old kits just to test the limits).

But I'm with Buckshot , not being able to see the destination slot is really bad for editors, we'll have to always be importing, checking and reloading the save everytime we want to check if a team is compatible or not. Why did they even remove that option?

philips_99....there is a limit -- looks as same as last year. Only way I see what is left is if I import say a batch of kits. When I installed a Day 1 OF, it doesn't show remaining -- that is an issue too --- Going to test installing some teds that do not have the sponsor logos to see if that changes the view I see. I am on a test account editing this morning classic teams. The destination slot is going to going to be a big hassle -- told my wife enough of a hassle that I am going to work on my 2018 and 2019 Classic projects now. I see PES posted on Twitter earlier about their EDIT MODE.........like it's the best thing since slice bread........yet they have removed editing features this year.

UPDATE -- Imported 3 teams with ony kits and logos and did not give me the space left. So whether installed with sponsor logos or not, you have no idea how much space is left.

Well this is quite dumb. Honestly I don't see why removing such basic stuff. Image slots are critical information, and now we don't know for sure how many we have... Combine that with the lack of the ability to know the destination slot and you have a complete mess of an edit mode... Shame on you Konami.

Anyway, thanks. Even though I'm really looking forward to PES 2020, those are unfortunate news. It seems that Konami can never give something without taking other stuff.

they bring back 2nd divisions and also add the option to have player shirt names be different on national teams but they take away some important stuff. its like they think we wont notice.

its just stupid and also that facebook page konami made is probably going to get this problem mentioned a million times and yet nothing probably gets done about it.

All we can do is complain about it.

I’m going to install new teams in another account on my PS4 and test things first before adding to my own OF.

Another idea (I had while typing) would be import the team you're not sure about without updating player/squad data. We can always delete kit images.

We can also save edit data - import - check and if not happy load the edit data we just saved.

Konami really need to sit down with editors and discuss what stays, what goes, what gets updated in edit mode! I’ve been saying that since the infamous magic boots. But what do I know?!

"select team to apply data to" option missing from pes 2020

Hi,

is anybody else missing the "select team to apply data to" option in 2020 (on ps4).

It used to be quite convenient to be able to select the exact team to which to apply a .ted file. Now you have to hope that whoever made the OF changed the same teams you want to.

I hope they return this option through a patch soon.

I fired in some stadium images earlier and it told me how many stadia pics I could add. But I think thats based on overall space left not a fixed number for stadiums. But at least it told me something!

If you batch install images - Kits, Emblems, stadiums or sponsors --- it will give you a count. Appears the only way to see the remaining space.

I am thinking the best way to see how much space I have left when I get further into it is to batch install and overwrite like kits so I can see remaining space.

Well at least we can still see it and not have to guess. Not so bad then

Seems that’s the only way.

I’ve decided to apply stadium, manager and sponsor images to the league I'm in during ML or BAL until all the kits I want are installed. Then I’ll see how it looks.
