Any ideas?

Side rant - getting pretty sick of this version and all the problems with patching.


Edit - My game is not fucking updating. Wtf. I just manually dl'd 1.01 patch, installed and it's still says 1.00 version. I'm about to bin this piece of fucking shit.

Mate, will you stop creating threads on topics that are already being discussed. There's a perfectly good thread here (ie where I've moved your post) on patch discussion.

Just do a little search before posting another thread, that's all I ask.

Working now anyway. It just decided to work after the fourth reinstall of the game. what an absolute mess. Cba to play now.

I thought the point of a data pack update was to, well, update stuf. Why is Carrol and Aquilani still at LFC? They left bloody ages ago.

Take a look at Suarez' Explosive Power, Ball Control and Shooting... is he really "one point better than Henderson"?

He's in fact many points better... Konami has even been generous in the shooting and Top Speed area to be honest...

data pack 2 problem

when you press Rs for community, it says i need to download data pack 2, but already have and its says its been applied, its fine if you go into quick match and lobby

this game is becoming an embarrassment for Konami. Sad to see. FIFA (EA) dropped the ball and this was Kanomi's perfect chance to swoop up alot of players but when your game is just as BROKE as FIFA's...oh well!

I'm actually trying to find some information on this data pack issue for a friend having this issue. Mine appears to be fine, I have no idea what KONAMI are playing at tbh

I moved his post to the correct place. I'm trying to stop people creating duplicate threads of already heavily discussed topics, to keep the place tidy.

What links take you to advertising sites? I'm unsure of what you mean. What are you trying to find?

Pretty much all of the discussion on the data pack can be found in this thread.

There are search functions available on the site. You can either search the whole site (button just below and to the left of where it says "Welcome [username]".
You can search the particular forum you're in (right of the blue bar where it says (eg) "Sub-forums: PES 2013 Discussions".
You can also search a particular thread (top right of the first post).

I'm also trying to gauge the PES community's response to the Data Pack 2. From what I understand, you can download it, in order to receive the additional boots, but also opt out of the updated transfers within the Data Pack 2 download. This might be preferable if you already have an Option File downloaded for your PES 2013 game, with already up to date transfers and kits saved as your Edit Data. However, the flaw is, according to Konami's PES 2013 site, is that if you default and choose not to implement the new transfers, you will not be able to participate in Online competitions, as well as Master League Online. Notice, Konami haven't mentioned anything regarding 1 vs. 1 exhibition/Ranked matches Online, so I am not sure if this is affected (as I'm yet to download Data Pack 2).

It would be great if people could shed some light upon the above paragraph, as I imagine many are actually wondering about it, given how many downloadable option files have been created by our great PES communities.

Data pack 2 screws up formations

To my horror I just realized that the latest data pack screwed up like 95 percent of the club formations in game. Was playing as united with their signature 442 and while tweaking the formation I made a mistake so I switched back to default and all of a sudden I had their new 4231 formation. To make sure it wasnt a fluke I went into edit mode and checked a few teams and sure enough almost every team was wrong. Chelsea for example had hazard as a cmf and bertrand as right ss. Just about every team has the wrong captain too.

So it looks like konami forgot to revert back to their new default formations but switched the players around which spelt disaster. I then went to data management for each club in edit mode and hit default. Took about 20 mins to do but now chelsea is using their new more compact formation with hazard in the right place on the wing. Only a handful of teams didnt change, the 2 I remember being real madrid and juventus but they were already spot on. Every club is now using a more true to life formation which means a better experience when playing the cpu. Once again a heads up would've been nice konami.

Are the formation cock-ups anything to do with you already having an OF in place? I don't think I've seen anyone mention your problem before.

right ty forgot about this thread here. i didnt use a custom of but i did change some stuff myself like names and badges. didnt touch formations though. i guess this wouldnt affect people who use an of since most likely the makers would adjust the formations themselves but for folks like me who prefer making changes ourselves i feel its good to know cuz it did affect my gameplay especially in exhibition mode.

i have Xbox 360 slim 250 and the game always freezing in the second time of the match , is there any fix for this issue ??
