This is what happens to me too. And I have a clean install. no updates.

Hmm, I don't understand. I never had 1.6 version installed. I have always used 1.7.
I also dicovered that there was some double players in ML. Beckham appears on two different teams.

hye dido..
when i play ur patch 1.7, the referee shirt sometime is the same with the team...especially when i'm using man u, the referees also wear red..sumtime it's hard to play u know..i hope there is a fix about that..

there is such a program, called (pro evo editing studio 2009), but use it at your own risk as it could crash your game if you do not know exactly how to use it.

no they dont work together, GAC should be uninstalled before, FYI i will be making the GAC patch starting pes 2010.

i know the program pro evo editing studio 2009 and PES 2009 Editor cuz i use those to edit teams etc.

my question is how to take a team from others a and put in national?

not exchange a national with a club, but add from a group to another,i tried many times but nth.

Also what about the problem with fans singing?
no goal shouting only a bit of singing, like from 10000 ppl you hear only 1000.

i never had that problem at xp and i have it now at vista using the same save file and the same patch of yours exactly.

also:

there is sum bug that referee has same color kit with your team you choose

and:

at champions league you can see always hoffenheim in a group!

to all, the final patch 1.7.5 is ready and under testing, will be out in a couple of days, this will be the final patch for pes 2009.

change log:

PES SMoKE Patch 1.7.5 (full):

- finished transfers.
- fixed the kits links.
- updated some kits.
- new old trafford stadium.
- added burnley new emblem.
- added new chants for (Manchester United, Inter milan, Juventus, AC Milan)
- corrected some errors in stats.
- corrected some radar colors.
- some minor fixes.

Eredivisie and championship extensions are ready and will be included.

Hey, i have a problem in Exhibition and Master League games, in the scoreboard, name of players,etc, appears a white square, but in CL mode it's all ok, how can i fix this?

I tried to reinstall, and all that stuff..

I've installed it and it works really great! Thanks!
But 1 problem, all clubs have the exact kit, but why does the real madrid kit is different? Its red lotto jersey. not the original white.

pls help.

also, just an idea, i had some patch before on a previous version and it had lots of classic teams ie classic barcelona, liverpool, man utd, ac milan, real madrid, juventus etc.. it would be great if you could use these teams rather than some teams from saudi arabia or where that people would rarely use.
also, have u added new chants to liverpool or celtic?? these fans have some great chants and songs , being a fan of course :)

the clubs and teams are selected from a pool that been done some time ago, this patch is intended for a lot of ppl from all around the world, so i try to satisfy at my maximum all the users. if it was up to me i would create ALL the teams and clubs in the world, badly the game cannot handle that.

a couple of questions.

Is the exe file somehow really needed on this patch?
Reason I ask is because I have an AI tweaked version of pes2009 (1.40)
Wich makes your team mates play decent football in BAL and reduce the AI scripting to a very nice level where the games become hard but manageable unless you are up against big clubs.
And I have a tweaked kitserver to work with this version of the exe file.

Wouldnt it be possible to copy your OF and Save directory into the one that my exe file uses and simply copy the contents of your kitserver into my (clean) kitserver to make it work?

I was really going to try it before asking any questions, but the downloads are so damn slow today because of a fibre cable error so i gotta wait for hours to get your patch downloaded.

Maybe i've explained the situation clumsily but im no english speaker.. point out to me if there is anything im unclear about and ill try to explain better.

EDIT: Figured it out, works perfect and your work is beautiful.. thanks a million, by far the best PC patch out there. You are the best Smokie!

One small question, There are some "DUMMY" players in Maccabi Haifa, Iran, Canada, USA, Honduras, Trinidad & Tobago and Togo.

This occurs no matter how i install this patch, wether using your conventional method or my "alternate".

Is it supposed to be like that?
Because the actual names are present in the edit file when i check with any editor.

hi
if you get dummy in any case it means its a miss install, probably you have used an editor to create more players but this will make dummys, unless a file is hexed which will cause another sort of bugs, anyway, to fix this:

go to this folder in the patch: cv02.img, and BE SURE that the files in that folder are the ones from the patch (recopy if you have to), and be sure there is no external files used in that folder.

P.S.: everyone is welcomed to customize the patch in anyway they like, but it is at your own risk.
