Top marks for this amazing option file that seems to keep evolving and getting even better!

One thing I have noticed is that in the old Kowalski option file Shearer in the classic England team had his real face and now it has gone back to a bald generic one - considering it is supposed to be Alan Shearer in his prime the real face with hair in the Kowalski option file looked perfect. I just mention this because Shearer is one of my favourite players of all time!

Could someone please enlighten me on how you actually map real faces to players? I don't mean scanned image faces - I mean the actual real faces in the way that the German national team have had the real faces mapped to the players and not the rubbish generic faces that are default for germany.

I'd be very grateful if someone could explain this as it used to be easy to do on ps2 and now it seems as though the option isnt even there in the edit menu!

You have to use an editing programme, you can't do it within the game itself. The next update will include Shearer's face

Wonderful work with this OF! Your dedication is enviable and all of us hopes to enjoy for a long time and help with what is possible to remain alive this OF for a long time!

The only thing I would like to see different in your OF is if the Bundesliga will be complete and updated too! If you could answer me, I would be grateful!

I'm afraid I don't have time at the moment to create any more Bundesliga teams

I've noticed one little thing: I have a ML that I started with patch 1.2, and although Macheda appears as a free agent, he appears as a 37 year old player (in case you're wondering, I'm in the third season of the ML so it's impossible for him to have grown that much...), do you think that that can be fixed??

I had the same issue with you also and i was even at my 5th season in the ML. I had no choice other than to start another ML but i still kept the saved file of my previous one incase Sammy fixes this problem.

The reason he is 37 is because I created him over a retired Turkish player called Sariw. I did this so that he would be a fully functioning player that can be used in Master Leagues. If you start a new game he will be 17, but if you want to continue your current game, surely at 37 he will retire at the end of the season? Then won't he be regenerated as a 17 year old? How long does it take for a player to be regenerated?

Thanks so much for more one update Sammy, but if you don't mind me asking as an outside observer, why did you choose to update Wolves and Birmingham instead of some other important European teams not present on the game (like some German teams for example)??

I agree with MigueLopes. Hamburger SV would be a better choice looking at their position in the Bundesliga and UEFA Cup.

They're placed in Pes United and WE United's spots, in other teams A.

I agree with MigueLopes. Hamburger SV would be a better choice looking at their position in the Bundesliga and UEFA Cup.

I chose Wolves and Birmingham for my own interest. They look like the 2 teams most likely to get promoted next season, so I felt like playing some games with them.
I have now added Hamburger SV and Wolfsburg in Other Teams B. They have correct kits, but there are no more slots for created emblems, so I have had to improvise slightly. Like Birmingham and Wolves, they are playable in Exhibition more, but not Master League

It does indeed. Been very busy recently, but had some time off for Easter, which is why you're seeing a few more updates

+ Hamburger SV and Wolfsburg have been added (correct kits, but not emblems - not playable in Master League)
+ Macheda's stats slightly improved (not majorly, as he's only 17, so in Master League he will develop a lot)
+ Some of the brightest upcoming talents have been created using stats from the PES Stats Database (replacing a few old players - they will appear as free agents if you begin a new Master League): Fabian Delph, Douglas Costa, Franco Zuculini, Dentinho, Keirrison, Gary Medel, Neymar

Hey Sammy you forgot to add Lee Martin as an upcoming youngster. He's doing well also in the manchester United reserves and also got some good stats from the PES database. Even though he can't be in the squad, you can still make him available as a free agent please. Thanks.

Hey good news.I just discovered that Sam Hewson is currently on loan to Hereford United. So you can also replace him in the team with Lee Martin.

You can overwrite Valencia's and Atletico's emblems as they are licensed teams since patch 1.2. Is it okay with you to do that?? :happy:

1.installed fresh copy of pes2009
2.installed patch 1.3 (rom a file downloaded)
3. downloaded the content inside the game (I guess it is 1.4, but never understood that after I install an official patch why I have to download stuff as well)
4. copied your files into save folder

Is that right?

Very very very very well spotted. Although I think you meant Vallodolid, not Valencia.

That is exactly correct. The reason you are not seeing the classic teams is because you have not unlocked them. I have updated the file, and in the new update (just for you!) I have included a copy of my personal option file with everything unlocked. Just replace your one in the 'save' folder.

Hey Sammy you forgot to update the Manchester United squad. Sam Hewson is no longer in the team (loan) and you can replace him with Lee Martin who is at the current team. You can get his stats from the PES stats database. Thanks. Still leaving them as a free agent for master league also.
