I have now fixed this. The German players should now also show up in Master League
Thank you, those links were very useful. I have undone the last update (I don't even like the new England kit, and would prefer to keep it as it was in Euro 08, like I have done with the line-ups)
Cheers, as I'm sure I've said before, I am very grateful for all the work you and Kowalski did on the previous option files, as without that, this one wouldn't have been possible
I'm now not planning to update, as I've managed to undo the new patch. I think you're not seeing it because you have your folder settings currently not showing hidden files and folders, and the application data folder is hidden.
To change this, in your normal folder window, go to 'Tools', 'Folder Options...', 'View', and under 'Hidden files and folders' select 'Show hidden files and folders'
You should now see it

****UPDATE**** (see first post to download)
This is an update for the 1.3 version (pre-England kit update). It will work for the England kit update, but without any new teams I've added and some of the transfers Konami missed won't have been done
I personally don't like this new update, so have undone it. For instructions on doing the same, see my first post
+ German players now have real faces and should appear in Master League
+ Guilherme has been imported from the new update and added to Dynamo Kiev (along with Gudjohnsen, he was the only noticeable change, and I have added Gudjohnsen already)
+ Slight issue with Stalteri, Hildebrand, Bradley previously mentioned should now be fixed
+ Instructions on undoing the England kit update have been added to the first post

Anyway, i have tried to follow your steps, and did 2 things in the end.
1) I deleted the old cv0f and replaced it with the downloaded one. The result was that i got the message "load failed because data is from a different version. download content and update version." But, i went to edit mode and could see all your changes, except for english teams' names and kits.
2) I kept the old cv0f there, and put in "cv0f.img". There was no message, but kits were still not updated, but players were.
I'm really sorry! But what should i do now?

This isn't working for me at all I'm just getting that gay load data version error message.
1. clean install of pro evo 2009
2.install 1.3 patch
3.copy this option file stuff into save folder

hmmm, on your computer do you have it set to show file extensions? like, the one you already had on your computer, was it called cv0f.img or just cv0f ? Make the new one the same as what you originally had. Then copy my option file
Hmmm, did you fully install the 1.3 patch? did you do the 1.4 patch as well?
My sequence of events:
1. Installed PES
2. Updated to 1.1
3. Updated to 1.2
4. Updated to 1.3
5. Updated to 1.4
6. Reverted back to 1.3, by downloading the mentioned cv0f.img file
7. Place my Option File in the 'save' folder
It is currently working 100% fine on my computer. Has anyone else had any success with this new update?

Good work sammy_k! I was really pleased someone had kept this OF alive and when you were at 1.2 I took it upon myself to update it (I had a lot of time on my hands!) and re-instated Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich. Plus I fully updated the Home Nation teams (Scotland, NI, ROI, Wales and England) with the current playing squads. If anyone is interested (and I can work out how to do it) I could upload this file. This is in no way meant to rival the original OF but it could be made available if anyone wants it. It's also got the new England kit, ie it's 1.4.

So I need to reinstall it again and this time install all the patches?

I literally can't figure out what I'm doing wrong - I've had no problems in the past with other option files and this is almost the same as the kowalski one, which I didn't have a problem with either.

Ok it says I'm at patch 1.3 but I installed kowalski's first patch and it worked perfectly. I tried a few others and only an option file for the earliest version of the game works.
Is there any chance you could make this thing compatible with the first version of the game?
I can't understand what's up with it it's definitely had all the patches applied to it and when I hover my cursor of the .exe is says version 1.3.0.0 or something.
I'll definitely donate as well!

try in-game-menu 'setting' then go to 'download', i did patch like you did but doesn't work until I use the download menu..

If the new England kit installs then the file i uploaded which is in first post place that to revert to a better game play as the newest patch disables some data.

FILE NOW UPDATED FOR 1.4 PATCH (WITH NEW ENGLAND KITS)!!!!
(see first post to download)The option file has now been updated to be compatible with the new 1.4 patch (with the new England kit). I have also tweaked a few other things...
+ German players now have real faces
+ Every single duplicate/fake international has been removed from their country's line-up and replaced with the proper club team player (all duplicated have been renamed to "VOID - followed by their name"
+ Missing transfers have been completed (please let me know if I have missed any)
+ England squad updated to more accurately represent recent selections (all other international teams left untouched so you can still play Euro 2008 matches)
If you decide you don't like the new England kit, I have left the previous 1.3 version available for download (as well as the 1.2 version before it), as well as instructions on undoing this latest update (see bottom of first post)
Hope you all continue to enjoy this option file. Please let me know if you do and make me smile, or use the donate option if you're feeling extra generous

Hi Sam would you say that it is good to update to this new version as i like to keep everything updated to the latest.
