Sammy, have you thought on making those positioning changes that I mentioned on page 7??

I really appreciate the help, but adjusting players positions is a huge 'can of worms' I don't really have time to open at the moment.

+ Cesar Navas removed from Racing (transferred to Rubin - Not in game)
+ Omar Bravo removed from Deportivo (loaned to Tigres - Not in game)
+ Fred removed from Lyon (transferred to Fluminese - Not in game)
+ Cho Won Hee transferred to Wigan (#5, from South Korea national team)
+ Went through every team in the game and checked formations and removed all annoying instances of Goalkeepers or Defenders starting up front

[Note: The only file that has actually changed since my last update is PES2009_EDIT01.bin, so if you have the last update, you only need to change this file]

I installed this one and I got the data version is different blah blah.

To get it working I need to:-

1. reinstall pro evo

2. put the 1.2 patch on

3. put this option file in the usual place?

Is there any way of not reinstalling it?

Sammy, I have updated my game to 1.30 in order to be able to play online with all the other players because of the different data version. So, now I'm another one of those guys wanting to see this OF "upgraded" to the 1.30 version of the game... Would you be able to do it, dude??

Not enough to warrant making them. I doubt they will feature this season. I have however created Eckersley, as he played again for them the other day

Nothing major, just a couple of updates due to loans. Also decided to create Thiago Silva, but as he's not officially becoming a Milan player until July, I have left him in the created players section (you will be able to find him in your Master League). His face was very difficult to create well, so I have included a scan, and while I was at it I included one for Bendtner, as it always annoys me that he doesn't look quite right

+ Kitson removed from Stoke (loaned to Reading)
+ Added Thiago Silva
+ New scan face for Bendtner

I believe so, but I don't possess a external drive to try out... Don't you have in your house (or any of your friends with who you play) two computers with PES 2009 installed so you can do it in one of them and play your master league in one and make that update in the other?? :happy:

i have a similar problem as you when i patched my PES2009 with 1.30 patch... then i refer to Rafnagud steps in his posting earlier (quote below) and after that, all seem fine...

sammy, ur OF can use with 1.30 patch.. i've tested...

Download patch 1.20 manually from gamershell.com or another website. If this OF still doesn't work download the 1.20 cv0f.img file from here:

http://downloads.gamingaccess.com/index.php?file_id=33283

Copy this file to your documents and settings/all users/application data/konami/pro evolution soccer 2009/download directory.

Never use the ingame download function because this will make the game incompatible with this fantastic Option File.

Thanks for spotting this. It will be fixed in the next update. For now, just go to the "register player" section in "edit", and remove the 2nd one. This will see the duplicate disappear from the game

+ I've recreated Bayern, Werder Bremen, AAB, FC Bate, Anorthosis... plus The Future's Bright, and If Carlsberg Made...
+ Will have all of the same kits as in the 1.2 version
+ recreated Thiago Silva and Lulinha
+ removed duplicate internationals again
+ completed remaining missing transfers (although I'm still checking through incase I missed any)
(formations will be updated some time over the weekend probably)


Will post it later tonight (when I get home). Still having a slight issue with 3 international players (Stalteri - Canada, Bradley - USA, Hildebrand - Germany), as it's not letting me register the 'club' versions of the players for their international teams (despite the nationality being corrected). My solution so far, is to clone these players, replacing the international fake ones. This means that there are duplicates, (only one of each should appear in Master League though), but at least the duplicates have correct appearances.

The only other thing that I'm trying to work out, is that for the "If Carlsberg Made..." team, I'm only able to include Lampard if I have him as a 'created player'. Not a major issue, as he won't be introduced to your Master League, unless you specifically sign him from the 'created players' section. Still, I would prefer to put him over one of the 'Player B' type players.
