Now that we know that the chinese and thai league will be added with DP2 i would like to start this thread so that we can come with suggestions of other leagues we can make. Feel free to add.

Some options are the leagues from Japan (J. League), South Korea (K. League), Australia (A-League) and Saudi Arabia.

Dont forget about Hong Kong. siuming and his friends do a wonderful job.

There is UAE too. I think thats one of the strongest leagues, correct me if i am wrong. I just really hope they dont mess with the J-League. Its a thing of beauty :(

maybe there won't be PEA league :erm:
this is the first time that they put 2 fake leagues in one region (asia). Maybe because of license coming late so they knew.
I like that they making more fake leagues,so if it stay's maybe next year they put more in europe :D

I think the only other league in Asia which actually has 16 teams is the Uzbekistan Super League.

EDIT: Just double-checked and it only has 12. My bad.

From a sure source, PEA league will be replaced by CSL, but we don't know if "replaced" means that the others PEA teams will be moved to another continent, like for example Others Euro... But i don't think personnally.

For my point of view, there's less freedom of editing, but also less to edit (there's already so many fucking teams on Others LATAM) before starting an ML.

Thai league have already an "hidden" reserved place in the database from the same source, won't affect PAS league or whatever. But they didn't mention it for the DLC 2.0

For me, it is absolutely bad to have less fredoom of editing, because we can't just have the teams we want that way. Having "less fredoom of editing" is not a good thing, and having "less to edit before starting an ML" it's not a good excuse. I mean, I perfectly understand that there are people who don't like to edit for months in order to start an ML. That's fine, when someone buys a game it is expected that it could be played right away, and that doesn't happens with PES. But I like to edit, mainly because not every team I want is in game, so I just create them. This is something I can only do in PES (2017 and 2018), and that's why these games are special and unique.

They could still keep all those editable and generic stuff and just add an option to choose individually what fake leagues would feature in ML (including the fake teams in "Others Europe/America/Asia", so you don't have to edit all those teams in Others LATAM section). This way, if you didn't want any fake leagues and just want to start an ML right away, you could do it. If you only want Bundesliga, you could do it. If you like to edit and want to edit every league to your heart's desire, taking months to do it (or a whole year, like me ), you could do it!

That's why I stick to PES 2018 (At least, editing in a "outdated" game has an advantage: There's no updates to mess up your work, everything is stable ). PES 2019 sucks when you talk about editing. I mean, those editing possibilities and the fredoom are what makes PES an unique game, different from FIFA. And they completely killed it in PES 2019.

PES 2016 (still on PS3) was the one that bring me back to PES after several years. Then PES 2017 (PS4) came and it was one of the best, not only with a great gameplay, but also on the editing aspect. You had lots of unlicensed stuff that you could modify, including a lot of teams in Other Europe section. On PES 2018 they removed a lot of the Other European teams to edit (ruining my plans for it), I even though about not buying it, but I'm glad I did, because it is my favorite right now, and the one I keep playing and editing after a whole year, and probably will keep doing so for another year (or two, three, etc. if the next PES games are like PES 2019).

Removing leagues to add others is not the way to go. And lack of space is not an excuse, we are in 2018, we have Blu Ray disks that can reach 50GB and digital downloads (if it wasn't possible to fit all in one disk, you could add it in a day one dlc or something). Also, that's not Sony's limitations. I mean, Red Dead Redemption is coming and it will take more than 100 GB on the hard drive. PES doesn't reach even half of that. And this isn't the only example: I own GT Sport and with all it's updates is currently taking more than 80 GB on my hard drive (perhaps 90 GB? I'm not sure right now). If there is a limit, it was created by Konami itself.

Right now, I am hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I'm really hoping that Konami can improve the editing and fredoom that make PES a special, unique game, and not become a FIFA/EA copycat. But what I really think is that it will only get worse. Perhaps, when they change the engine again, we'll have no more editing at all, because that doesn't give them money.

I'm sorry for the long text, I hope it wasn't painful to read

Can't remember from previous years but I've edited stats etc for the likes of the Premier League, Liga NOS, the Scottish Premiership etc, will applying player data from DP2 (as I'll have to in order to add CSL and the Thai League) reset this? Asking now so I have time to export all the teams pre-DP2 if so.

You should always make backups of your edits (exporting them). You never know what can happen.

Does anybody know whether we can make an export while not connected to the internet or not?

Yes... I'm doing portuguese league in PEA league... I didn't start making the players exactly because DLC 2.0, but I already made an export of all edits I've made... Just in case...

If they replace PEA League with CSL I might consider replacing the euro fake league, actually used for the Bundesliga, with the 2nd portuguese league.

Then people (specially in Portugal) may decide which league they want, even though I would prefer a lot to have them both...

Let's wait and see.

PS: And it's a bit frustrating since I don't edit PES since old PS2 PES versions, and this is really annoying when I finally love PES on new gen consoles, Konami does this... oh well...

I’m preparing for the PEA league to be replaced, as in removed by the CSL. I would prefer the PEA to stay as a fake league but I suspect it wont.

Well, since 2nd Portuguese League wouldn't be suitable for Master League (it would be "disconnected" from the portuguese league, no promotion/relegation) and it would be mainly used for League/cup mode, I guess people can install Bundesliga on an account to play ML and then install 2nd portuguese league on another account, and have the best of both worlds ;)

This is why I edit PES 2018, at least it is stable

So in theory, if we import the default PEA teams, it should reverse the CSL being created, right?

I'm just trying to think of the easiest way of removing any trace of it before the DLC, so the game has fresh space for a new league.

Good to see you still in action bud!

Here’s how I see it, if you go into another account and export the original PEA teams then go back to your OF and import them it’ll override the CSL if you’ve added it. BUT whoever made it made it with created players. They’ll now be free agents and you’ll need to delete them. If like me you’ve used NT duplicates and fakes to fill out the CSL, you’ll need to find these in free agents and default them, otherwise DP2 will give you duplicates (grrrrr).

Personally I’m exporting everything I want unchanged by DP2 and wiping my exit data. Once I’ve got DP2 installed I’ll import everything again.

I think I will do that as well, but I'm struggling to find all the International Kits I'd used before. I've looked in all the usual places, but I can't track the ones I used down. It's going to be a pain regardless!

That's why I've been collecting all the files I used in my game in one main folder in my PC, dividing it into more than 30 subfolders going league by league. And if I edit something in my game I export the team and put it in those folder again replacing the old team .ted.

Thats exactly what I’ve done.

The CSL OF I used had created players in, I base copied those over NT duplicates. So when PEA league is removed I’ll have duplicates of licenced CSL players. I’m going to wipe my edit data, re-import everything except the CSL OF and fibd out what NT duplicates I have all over again. I use them to create any FM19 wonderkids missing from PES.

That's a good plan. I do something similar but it is not as organised. I've just deleted all my image files and the EDIT.bin and replaced everything without the CSL ready for Thursday, then once we know what the damage is, I can assess what to do.

I'm hoping that the PEA League stays, because there are some great versions of the Saudi Professional League being created.
