You telling me, when you've had an argument with someone, and then you thought it was over, you've never turned around and called them something as a joke whilst continuing on as usual... Man you are uptight, I just offered you my help, which would be hours worth of help, and all you saw was "bit of a bellend". If I thought you was a bellend, or knew you was a bellend, I wouldn't have put "bit" in front of it fella... I would have straight out told you you was a C**T... You can't hear what tone of voice I was saying that in, in my head so thats why I offered you any help, to try and make you realise it was a jokey dig to try and nullify the mood, but you still want to argue like I hate you or something... Just stop yea, just stop... If you had accepted any help, i had done you some faces, and then you went and said "cheers prick" because of the argument we had... I would have laughed it off and gone "thats ok bellend!" It's called banter.... what If I right it like this, will you see it differently...

anzi has a good point about stats... it seems each year stats mean less and less.. i really dont get konami, are they retarded or what? I remember in pes6 stats meant ALOT, you could feel the difference if someone had 5 more of some stat... nowadays... can you really? even if theres 20 difference in a stat, u can barely notice the difference.

Yeah... :erm: I noticed this when I started a Masters League. I barely feel any difference between playing my newly minted ML team, and playing, say, Man Utd. I bought some guy called Gelpi, and he plays like Messi, Ronaldo or Rooney... Second game into the season I played Milan - no problem - Gelpi scores and I win.

It's because of this rubberbanding and other crap like that. For example when you make a through ball, the player chasing it seems to accelerate unnaturally. Who cares what speed you have? Or take shooting - the keepers save practically every shot that is beyond 8-10 meters from goal, and so what do you care how good shots your strikers are? Since with any player you'll have to just go to the penalty spot and slam the ball from there.

I'm from the Republic of Ireland, so I can safely say I understand banter extremely well. Talking on the internet is a limited form of communication, if your arguing with me for ages and then suddenly using banter how am I meant to tell you've changed your tone? I don't, just sounds like an insult because 99% else of what you said was arguing with me, so its understandable I'd more than likely think it was an insult due to the context unless you make it obvious. I don't know you to be able to tell little subtleties like that. Get me? Anyway, time to move on.

Errrrrrm..... I'm not sure about this game!

Firstly... I hate the faces including the pre-sets and I hate the editor! For me, being able to build faces is a huge part of the game. But in this game, the editor just feels really rigid?!?!

Anyway, the gameplay, I haven't played it enough to properly judge, but my first impressions aren't too positive!

Please, no need to reply to this post, it's merely my first impression of the game. I could grow to like it?

Played the game a lot today with Juve and had a couple of decent games but you have to play pretty much all out attack to get anything going. On PES '13 I would set up to contain teams who were superior but still had my moments when attacking.

I'm hoping there might be a bit of change when i use an option file but i don't know.After three days of playing i'd say that PES '14 is the worst football game i've ever played, it's a long slog of a game, not particularly free flowing or even that enjoyable, that said i'll give it a month of fairly regular playing time to give it a fair appraisal.

The game came out today in the US. I won't be getting it unless they fix all these complaints. way too many, and I think way too many for them to fix to make the game any better.

Now I've got into face editing because I dispice the game itself, even I now feel like the editor is bad, theres things you could do on the other one you can't do on this one, it's almost impossible to make someone with a thin jaw line, you either have to squash the whole face, or change the skin type and if you do either, it doesn't look like them... not to mention on the ps3, the previews look nothing like the face you just created. if i push the jawline in on the first page, it seems to push the bottom half of his face out, and then i cant push them bits in any further because they are already on -7... PES2013 is better in every way apart from the general player movement (turning etc) and that is it.

Too many cry babies here... *waah* They changed a lot of things and now I have to start again with learning how to play the game *waah*.

I have had a good old session playing Master League today, and there are times where I absolutely love the new game, but other times where I am left frustrated and hate it.

Don't get me wrong, the game is not perfect by any means. There are still things that bug me so I will list them here:

- Player switching. At times it just doesn't want to switch at all, it's annoying as F*** when I know I want to switch to a player who is in a better position but for some reason I am stuck to the one player I don't want be.

- Players just letting the ball run past them. This is the worst one, (along with players ALWAYS putting their hands up for offside haha) This is so annoying, my players at times will just stand still and let the ball run past them, shouldn't happen, wouldn't happen EVER... It's just silly. lol.

- Pin-point CPU through balls... This is how the CPU score against me 90% of the time.

- Elastic banding. This doesn't seem to be much of an issue after the last patch (?) Not sure if that actually improved anything, unless it's because I have a few more better players for my team it doesn't seem to be that noticeable... However I do think it is still there at times but it doesn't seem as bad as it was.

I think that is it, other than the fact they took away quite a lot of editing options like the stadiums and stuff. Which sucks for someone like me.

I like the new jostle thing with the right stick, I love the new shooting and build up play. I am kinda glad they nerfed the lob through ball also.

Overall I feel like this game is a step in the right direction, it plays better than 2013 by far, I expect a lot of hate saying that so don't bother I will not reply, but that is my opinion. The game feels and plays a lot like REAL football, and if you play in real life you will appreciate the game more.

If you are only here moaning about players faces (which can be fixed with a mod if you use a PC) or the shooting, then go and play Fifa. There is no skill in Fifa, it's a casual gamers football game - But if you want a mans football game get PES 2014

Oh also I nearly forgot - I don't see how people are having problems with lag? The only lag I have come across was on the PS3 demo? The full game doesn't have any lag at all during gameplay. (Maybe during the entrance scene - but I never watch that so it doesn't bother me).

I play on PC with a mediocre rig and play on Max settings using 1080p.

For anyone who plays on the PC, by forcing Vsync off I get a ridiculous, ridiculous boost in player responsiveness, it feels so much better it's actually unbelievable, I've spent the best part of today trying to work around the screen judder you get when playing w/o vysnc but can't quite get the same performance, it seems at this point the only way to play with vsync on (Adaptive vsync slightly improves things) is to hope konami brings out a patch which better optimizes this game, I'm using a gtx670 FTW which is essentially a 680 card and a 3770k cpu, I think it's bullshit that this game can't operate properly with full responsiveness when vsync is on c'mon Konami!! I feel so close to being able to enjoy this game satisfactorily...

So seriously guys, you PC users, try forcing vsync off and tell me I'm not crazy here, the delay reduction is staggering, it changes my opinion of the game immensely! Just a shame there's so much pissing around to try to get this working properly!!!

I tried it and I can confirm what you say - turning v-sync off makes the game a hell lot snappier, responsive and enjoyable.

I usually manage to win games with 1 goal or so, now I won with 5-0, managed beautiful combination play, dribbling etc.

Only problem is that my computer overheats which makes the game go in slow-motion occasionally

I cannot understand what mad man within Konami there is that wants to keep this gaming experience from the public??

Good to see someone is enjoying the game like myself. I also think it is far superior to 2013. I'm not having any of the lag people are talking about either and I'm on xbox, I was beginning to think I had some freak version of the game. I've only noticed it on the entrance scene myself.

It does finally play like real football. Can't say I could really say that about any footy game before either. It had elements before with the ball control physics but you had no 360 degree freedom which ruined exploiting space and beating players properly as you were limited to only a few angles to run at. The dribbling has far more freedom as a result and because of that you can overrun the ball much easier with the more freer ball physics. You get used to that though as you can't just go sprinting around all over the place. You've got to know when to sprint into space or slow it down and look for options. Very realistic with a deep learning curve. The shoulder barge with the R stick is a great addition, highly satisfying shouldering fuckers off the ball.

It has its problems, but there is an incredible game lurking there under them.
