PES 16: Edit mode discussion.

Thought it was intriguing that they said "image import" would be back for PS4 but no mention of any other features. Does this mean that Xbox One is going to be stuck with edit mode as PES15, or that we're going to at least see the "logo editor" and the "sponsor edit" features return from the previous gen?

While I can appreciate it probably wasn't Konami's fault that image import is to be PS4 only, I think it would be extraordinarily unfair if one format could edit logos and the other could not.

Luckily i'm on PS4, the import feature is great in WWE 2K15, I wonder if we will be able to use it to import players faces & tattoos, like PC mods do currently. That way we could import a picture of a player and map it over his face, rather than just editing generic faces which is all we can currently do.

Another step for PES 2017 would be to let us import stadium images into the game via this same method, you could add stadiums images into edit mode, probably 1 per stand, so you would have an image for stand 1, stand 2, stand 3 and stand 4 for each stadium, to beautifully recreate licensed stadia! That way it would get around the lack of licensed stadiums issue..

I was so excited to hear you could import images for PES16, can't wait. Hopefully it'll be like it was on PS3 so you can import PNG's etc. Would be amazing, considering I came from 360 and never got the chance to try that stuff

I think they shouldn`t be stopped just because one console can`t do it - as bad as it might sound for Xbox One owners. Maybe it will even help the Xbox to get that feature when Microsoft notices that PS4 is better in that department.

@ Lankz I don`t think that a flat image would be enough to create a 3D stadium in high enough quality. Remember you have to place fans there as well.

FOr the image import on PS4 a big YES! I hope this will work well with high enough quality to make cool kits and for trikos and logos.

I hope it brings an import feature from pes 2015, so who created bundesliga can have all players created in 5 minutes.

Sorry for a stupid question but

you can import images on PS4, what about the complete options file? with all editing done and up to day, like the good old days?

You can already import files to the Xbox One via USB to set as background images, so I'd be surprised if it wasn't possible for them to code it in.

Exactly - XB1 already uses USB to be able to import images to the Dashboard. It is quite clearly possible that it can be done. Konami must simply force MS into allowing it to be included in the game. Threaten to not even release it on XB1 without it see what they do then.

From pesteam.it (translated by google):

Important note for the Edit mode because it will finally be possible to import images on PS4, so users can add badges and uniforms kit (whole like templates of PC!) from the editor of the game.
Adam showed us a uniform of a team replicated with this system and the result was almost identical to the official shirt!

Too good to be true

It's weird that they now publically promote replicating kits, a few years ago the Premier League were on their case big time. So much so that if you typed Premier League on here it would automatically change to English League.

:shocking: maybe 2016 will be perfect then

The "templates of pc" part it's hard to believe for me.

With all the edit options that pes2015 has on ps3 (badges, front, back, sleeves, shorts and socks) but on ps4 (hi-res) I would be happy.

Hi all ! I hope and be happy now you can prove it will finally be able to import kits consisting original game ! and I'm as happy ... but rather pensive while stu ... because if not for PS3 will be just ... just tell Konami PS4 and PC :( )

Konami has released the next batch of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 screenshots, showing off the all-new PES 2016 PS4 image import function as well as the Master League and myClub menu designs.

The images suggest that kit textures in PES 2016 can be imported directly in the original game format, allowing users to create realistic shirts for unlicensed teams on Playstation 4 and PC.

I read the news carefully now Konami ... and I found this quote :
Edit mode is synonymous with the PES series, and further updates have been made to this hugely popular mode. PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 users are now able to import images into the game, thus perfectly replicating any team kit or emblem the user wishes - including managers.
