You will "Unlock" a Zinedine Zidane with a crappy (random) looking Face that doesn't even come close to resembling Zidane.

It sucks.. why can't Konami just Include "Classic Players" such as Zinedine Zidane with an Edited (Real) Face. It would give a new dimension to the "PES Shop", and "Unlocking" players would be actually worth it.

Do they need a License for Classic Players?? I mean, back in PES6, the German National Team was Not Licensed -and- Most of the players had random Names and Faces -and- still, Most of their "Real" Faces could be found in the Edit Mode.. Why can't Konami do the same with the Classic Players??

And yet again, if they have the License to feature the Argentine National Team in full detail -then- Why can't they feature the 1986 version of Diego Armando Maradona?? After all, Maradona was wearing the "AFA" Argentina shirt..

If they can Feature a fully edited Netherlands side -then- what stops them from featuring a fully edited version of the 1974 Johan Cruijff??

I just don't think it's an Issue with Licenses, I think it's more a case of Konami Not thinking about such Details, they just haven't taken the time to improve on the Classic Players.. a shame really.

By the way, have you tried out what I said about Cruijff?? I have the PS3 version though, but I suppose the "Luka Modric Face" is the same in the 360..

no i haven't yet, and u might be right about the luka modric face thing, im not sure... but on the licenses topic...i think thats a good point... konami is just too lazy to change much about their PES franchise sad but true

Kind of disappointing -because- Konami used to be smart about such things, I remember when I could create Nike Vapors even though Konami had NO Nike License..

I think Konami should think about something that CAN Improve the "PES Shop" as right now the "PES Shop" is a completely worthless feature, a waste of Space. Whereas, if the "PES Shop" offered a list of Fully Edited Classic Players -then- it would No Doubt be a Fan Favorite.

Konami should really start thinking about those little Details that are Important -even- though may look Unimportant from many perspectives. That's where FIFA outclasses PES, in this details; PES was the 1st one to introduce Classic Players -but- FIFA was the 1st one to feature Classic Players with their real Names and their real Faces.. Classic Players that actually looked like themselves.

I find it odd that Konami still has NOT placed the "Classic Players" real Faces somewhere in the Edit Mode. I expected something like that in PES08, but PES08 came and Classic Players Faces are nowhere to be found.. Hope this changes in Future versions of the series.
