I feel its my duty to tell how bad the PES2009 edit mode is.

1º- The Kits they have in the Edit mode are for making last years equipments (Poor guys they don't even have internet access to see the new kits)

2º- You can't put logos or emblems both in socks or shorts, and ALL TEAMS have it.

3º- Can't put anything in the back, nor logos nor writtten things.

6º- It was just about time to let yu put emblems to leagues and cups no?

5º- Yes!!! You can import faces from any images BUT YOU CAN'T PUT ANY BEARDS WHICH IS RIDICULOUS AND THE FACE IMPORTED ONLY OCCUPIES THE CENTER OF THE FACE. THE REST OF THE FACE IS PLAIN FACE IN WHICH YOU CAN'T EVEN CHANGE THE CHEEK.

6º- There are only 40 slots for emblems BUT IF YOU WANT TO PUT A SINGLE EMBLEM FOR EVERY TEAM YOU'D USE 56 EMBLEMS (MAN!!! CAN'T THOSE STUPID KONAMI GUYS COUNT?)

I agree. I have a beard and can't put my face into the BAL because it only recognizes my moustache. I look like a pornstar... Not good enough.

i dont think its that bad, i try and make the kits accurate but tbh i just get them as close as poss. as long as its close i'm not bothered as i will alter them once i get into the ML.

I don't think it's the best edit mode to date, but it is very good. I think PES5 was the best, with the Adidas templates.

Easily much better than last year. The only kit design I was disappointed not to see was the thick lines on the shoulder down to arm, like the new Arsenal home shirt.

sorry the importing of 200 pngs is more important than snow to me>:)

its only poor if you are talking about the xbox version!

im happy with the editing tools this year, ive spent enuf time on it.

but bummed with the gooner template, apart from that, well happy..

yes i'm on x-box but i dont mind the lack of importing at all. i just drew a pixel image of the sports brands like nike, umbro and adidas etc. put them on the neccessary kits in black or white and thats good enough for me. the default team badges will do as tbh you just get used to them and can recognise the teams easily until i get around to making the correct ones or purchasing the camera to do it with

i mentioned the snow as it made a difference to the match instead of just dry or rain. this adds something extra to a 5 or 10 season ML campaign, like the ability to design new kits after a season or two. this is why i dont think the edit mode is bad at all, i wont have the kits like i started with for long

I usually give my ML team a simple kit with no sponsor (but kit make is there) during the first season. Depending on how they do, I will decide on what sponsor to give them, and also give them a flashier kit. There's a lot more choice this time, meaning I could change kits every season, rather than every other season, like in PES2008.

on pes 5 i went thru a stage of giving them like the newcastle shirt but with blue stripes over a slightly different shade of blue, just to make a kind of contrast on the shirts. or the croatia checquers in blue over blue. if you spend a bit of time on it especially now the edit has gone back to the better version you can make some cracking kits up

^Yeah, it's the best edit mode in the history of Pes. Especially the Kit logos and facial import.

sort out the beard dude! i've been there mate. all you do is default the face then put ure beard on, then save. open it back up and import your face again, bang the new beard is there...
