I don't get what you mean by the highlighted muscles but they have had some bad covers. The Pierluigi Colina cover for PES 3 was just horrible.

you know the was that konami have cover stars that either pose or in full motion well konami use a heavy momentum on lighting (look at torres legs) it doesnt go with messi...to give definition

Right, I see what you mean now. I'm not so big on that look. Noticing some of the past covers they've used that same effect quite a bit. It's really clear on the PES 6 cover especially, you can you see the light on Adriano's legs as he's volleying the ball. Should go with something different this time.

The earlier ones especially. The second one with the white shirt was horrible, so was the third one with Pierluigi Colina and his alien glare.

Well it doesn't hurt to have a nice cover for the game, because as long as the game doesn't suck, it won't matter what the cover look like at the end.

I like the cover but don't love it, so what i'm saying is I don't give a f*** about the cover LOL! it is kind of similar to PES2009 - all they have done is added Torres alongside Messi.

I thought that aswell. It looks very similar to the previous Pro Evolution. I like the idea of maybe urbanizing it, but I'd fear it would look too similar to Fifa Street.

I did this for a project in uni last year of manipulation to produce urban art..

thanks...that indeed was not the finished version as you could probs tell lol....just a rough guide
but in my line of work and now that I am at UWIC i have come to learn that the trends for artwork have become very urban and typographic
so i would love to see konami follow these trends.... but as people have said it doesnt really matter about the box art it the game..which is true but me for one would love to see a eye catching bit of artwork
