PES 2010 on HP dv5-1299ee

I have an HP dv5-1299ee laptop and..
When running PES 2010 at High settings, it just freezes at loading screen taking only 40MB of memory

Here are the specs:
Intel Core2Duo T9400 @2.53GHz
4GB DDR2
nVidia Geforce 9600M GT 512MB deticated
320GB HDD

Windows 7 7600 64-bit

Also this game source runs flawlessly on any other PC or Laptop but not on my dv5 and my friends dv5 too.
Adding, tried on win 7 32-bit on my laptop and it was negative too :erm:

Update: I have all drivers updated and i can run any other game smoothly including PES 2009 and PES 2010 DEMO

Try to look at the settings in PES folder, adjust the resolution (Maybe it doesn't support wide screen (ur laptop) or something). Also make sure you're playing on high performance (Some laptops got two video cards, one on PS and one on HP)

i'm pretty sure about the settings i've got the resolution at 1280x720 which is my laptops screen resolution, and it supports widescreen for sure and i'm also on high performance.

All other games seem to work with no problem at all even the high graphics games, i just cant see why only hp laptops and why the Pavilion dv5s and dv6s especially. :erm:

Any Ideas!!

now i'm really confused cuz it didnt run on my dv5 having win7 x64/nvidia 9600 GT nor my friend's dv5 win vista/nvidia 9600GT nor on a dv6 win 7/ati hd4650

so i cant figure out where the problem is, the GPU or the HP itself or what.
yea gimme ur Laptop's settings surprised it works on a dv5 ! :S

Full widescreen, 1024X768. 16:9 not 4:3. Also I use frame skipping (and i check that LB button). Btw when starting it does it give you any kind of an error message ?

using the same but with 1280X720,
and no it doesn't give any error message, just freezes at the loading screen with stars at the bottom left and takes only 36MB RAM usage which is really weird cuz the DEMO works taking 200MB RAM at least.

Any ideas appreciated...

reinstalled it like 20 times now and it works on any other PC plus DELL laptops and an HP Compac laptop and it works on all those fine, i cant figure out where the problem could be not the laptop, not the game source and not the windows...VERY CONFUSED :(
