pes 2010 online is it awful for everyone?

maybe youre running into lag cheaters when playing quick match.

Wouldn't surprise me. Another reason it's rare that I play online.

You can actually play a lag-free match against Brazilians? Do you have a super fiber-optic Internet connection or something? I'm usually on about 9:30-11:30pm PST, and my PSN is wengervision.

I'm in the US on PS3 and haven't had any online trouble, even playing Brazilians.

ive had pes 2010 since it came out but I only played it online once, on the day it came out, and it was a laggy mess, but I put it down to it being so busy on the opening day.

So yesterday, I thought I'd play some people online and I just can't believe how bad it is. It's worse than last year, so many games get called off because of the transmission, everyone is barcelona or real madrid and is probably the most unenjoyable and frustrating bit of xbox I've played.

Also, I tried to join a tournament, but it seems that every competition is fully booked all the time.

Is this as bad for me as it is for everyone else?

Yeah it's pretty bad online but I'm finding that PES 2010 is a pretty bad game overall it looks and plays like last year's poor effort. konami need to fix up and remove the blatant bugs in the game. I won't be buying this crap ever again.

Well it seems it depends on what platform you are playing on. I play on PC and the online is generally lag free. Tbh its the only thing I really think is good with this pes.

Don't forget that Sweden more or less has the best internet connections in the world.

no, I mentioned that South America lags as does Mexico. Playing people in the USA seems to work fine though. I have regular cable connection nothing too crazy :lol: I wasn't on last night, sorry... I'll try to catch you tonight if you're on.

I talked to some polish guy the other day on one of the lobbys and he said that in Poland the normal connection is 2Mb.....

Here in Portugal the standard is around 16/20Mb....


I think internet speed and internet configurations are the #1 responsible for online lag....

Most people don't even know how to configure their rooters/modems...
