The update is out.
I've caught a few transfers that still aren't updated, but nothing much :D

Nice to see it didn't overwrite any of the editing I had done, and also that it was worth base copying a few players (like Raúl) since they are gone from the game and now I can get him to Shalke 04 perfectly :)

Did you have any bother finding the update? I get a game pop-up telling me i have a new update available, and then i go to the 'Extra Content > Data Update and i only have the option to d/l the demo, a couple of trailers and the intro screen...

I noticed that Rangers/Celtic now have the Tennent's sponsor on the shirts finally!!! :) nice touch, I renamed a fake player and changed his stats a little to see if it had any effects but it stayed the same :) Awesome!!! wish I had base copied a few more players as that worked fine too, got Raul, Henry and Diego though, the main ones, awesome DLC and very nice that nothing is effected, very happy gamer here :)

Classic Players has been effected. Diego is in there now, named Deito. He takes Midos place who is now in the Ajax squad. Julio Cruz is included instead of Brad Jones who is at Liverpool.

Farfan is also among the Classic Players now, and I think he has taken Morientes' place for some reason...? Base Copy Morientes if you haven't updated and want him then.

Is it just me or does the gameplay seem slightly different after the patch? I could be crazy but to me it seems a bit smoother or something. Can't quite put my finger on it yet.

does anyone know what's the difference between selecting 'yes' or 'no' when the game asks to overwrite edit data when you DL the DLC?

yeah.. same here.
I mean, I didn't create new players and transfer them around (i was waiting for this update before I did that).. and I guess that bit would get overwritten. I chose "YES" and still kept all the other editing I had done.

I suppose that's true for edited teams, but when you've created bundesliga stuff without base copying over the PES league.. what then?

I read about non-base copy players such as Raul being removed, as well as internationals not being registered in the teams (and as such, formations and numbers messed up)

hope you can prove me wrong! :huh:

Gameplay seems better, manually changing players seems more solid, players are less erratic when receiving the ball. Also the commentary seems to have sorted itself (not talking over each other) players getting injured, now they stay down and not just jump up after a bad tackle.. Injurys seem to be sorted.. and shooting feels a little better, more weight in it (if that makes sense)

I had 3 games in which gerrard got injured 3 games in a row (before the update).. he got up after each tackle. with the commentary saying he is still staying down.. it seems to be sorted.. (hope my description helps lol)
