when I change the settings to " rainy ", there is no rain on the pitch
is there any way to change it?
it would be nice if there is " snow " option too, don't you think?

There´s actually rain, but depending on the angle of the camera, it´s hard to see. In dead ball situations though, I can clearly see the rain falling. In previous PC versions, there´s a patch with heavy rain. Hope they make it this year too.

I totally agrres, I would love to really see the different weathers on the field. iT'S UNBELIEVABLE HOW OLDER GAMES FROM PREVIOUS CONSOLES COULD RECREATE IN A BETTER WAY THE RAIN AND EVEN THE SNOW. pLEASE KONAMI recreate the weather in a good realistic way. And PLEASE include the option of snow, that we can play in snowy weather.
It would also be great that you started a game with a sunny weather and while the match progresses the weather changes to cloudy and then rainy, it would be awesome just like in real life.

i use the wide cam this is why it looks like fog i think

the real question is when you put rain on as a option does the ball move any different

I much prefer the way rain looks in PES. Even in HD, watching football on tv, it's hard to see the rain clearly from the main tv camera. You only notice it on close-ups.

FIFA's rain might be completely visible, but it always has, and still looks shocking.

I don´t think so. At least I don´t feel anything diferent when playing in the rain.

Rain is only visible in the pre-game stadium shot. If you look hard enough you will see it. It is subtle but realistic at the same time. During gameplay it just looks a bit "misty" and you can't see the actual drops (I play on the Pitch side camera).

In my experience I can't see that rain has any effect on gameplay. In FIFA the game is visibly slower when played in rain and also you can see visually how the ball (and players) bounce in potholes.

its better on fifa , pes needs to sort the rain out , but what you said is correct you need to look real hard to see it , pointless putting it in cos

a i can't see it
b ball moves same
c no one looks wet or muddy
