Hi Guys,

I've recently came back to Pes after playing Fifa for the last few years because of the lag I used to get on Pes,(I think the last one I bought was Pes 2009).

Anyway I came back to Pes after I heard it had full manual controls as I'm a manual player only to be disapointed with every online game being laggy,I've a very good connection (Fibre Optic 70mb) so I know it's not me,ports are open etc.

So my question is,have you guys experienced the same thing, and can you find better games or solve the problem?

I should also add checking the lobbies is just full of games with poor/very poor connections too.

Also do any of you play manual controls? me and a couple of other manual players who played in a club on Fifa are getting Pes 2014 and if it has a clubs mode would like to find other manual players to possibly join us.

First you must go to the devices and find the network adapter click the advanced settings and make sure the speed with router is in full doublex.

Set transmit buffers and the receive buffers in maximum values. Also try to maximize the free ram in your system by deactivating some services that are overloading the ram of your system forcing the windows core to use intensively the swap file that is on the disk. Open the run button and type services.msc deactivate windows search, readyboost and especially super fetch all hey do is to fill the cash with garbage. Click on stop Next to Startup type, click on the drop down menu and select Disable.

If all these didn't solve your problem there is a possibility you logged in a wrong section make sure you have the server or the player you chose closer to your country.

Thanks for trying to help,but my router settings are fine,and I've plenty of ram and my pc in general is more than good enough for Pes.I have an i7 3930k cpu and a gtx 680 gpu,so it must be the game.

If you have a good connection you should rarely face lag and if you do all the time it is your connection what's the problem. You can have a really fast connection but that doesn't mean you won't lag.

Do a ping test to see if you have packet loss and see if you have a high ping.

I've done several Ping tests and my ping is fine,it's every player I meet seems to have a poor connection, and most of the time they get disconnected and I win the match
