PES 2014 on Intel HD 4000

Hi everyone!

I made an informational video showing how PES 2014 performs on intel onboard graphics card. I played on a Asus k55a laptop, which has HD 4000 GPU.

First, in order to change picture quality, you need to go to BIOS settings and allocate more vram (512 mb) to the gpu, otherwise the game plays on lowest settings. I played in medium and it was good, but it lagged when you were close to the goals (crowd).

Bad advice.
Game sucks even on powerful desktops. How would you play it on an intel hd laptop ? unless you like slideshow gaming.

I have a mediocre PC and my game runs at 60fps on high settings... so I don't know what you guys are bitching about.

You bought your PC yesterday coming from a PS3 and started "bitching" about technical aspects.
It's not about how many frames per second you see FRAPS reporting, it's the laggy menus,choppy cut scenes/replays and unoptimized graphic engine. Beside lacking of any possibility to use AA and AF even when forced in nVidia control panel. It's clear that they tried their best to rush the game out before Fifa, it needed more time in development. However it is really good that you enjoy your game as it is on your "mediocre" PC

I don't use Fraps, actually let me rephrase that, I cannot use Fraps as it makes my computer fail on me... As I said it is a medicore PC, if you really need me to give you my specs I can, they are far from optimized - It even says my GFX card is bad when I go to check it in the PES settings.

But during the gameplay I have no issues with any lag, frame rate drops or anything. Not even during replays. There might be some during the entrance scene and stuff but I couldn't tell you as I never watch them.

The menu is fine also.

I have to use Dxtory to capture as it allows me to play at full res and fps whilst capturing at 30fps and 720p. It also doesn't chew up my computer like fraps does.

FRAPS is useless for PES 2014 anyway. It will not report the correct fps, since the engine is "locked" to 60 fps. You can play the game at 12 fps and it will still report 60fps with the osd.

and yea fraps is useless... i wonder if konami did it on purpose..

Well the replays with 'replay' in the corner is running normally, the other replays show at 50% speed (I hate that PES does this), so all I did is increase the speed to show it in real time.
