Yep, embarrassing when FIFA 15 will have more up to date squads then PES 2016.

I might have to do a ML in South America until it's sorted because I know next to nowt about those leagues so shouldn't affect the authenticity too much for me.

I do understand that new players are introduced into the game every year and they are complications regarding licensing which can perhaps make some additions complex.

But that's a slightly different topic altogether as we're then discussing the creation of players appearances and abilities. And because we're all outsiders in this operation, we don't know the stages of development, we don't know if data from last year's games are migratable or how they go about doing transfers.

We can only assume it's all last minute.

Probably the worst thing is why not just come out a week before release & say look transfers will be out of date on release, the data pack will be released on x date*

*Providing the dlc passes sony/microsoft testing

How hard would that be?? Even if x date was sometime in October it would piss people off less than the flimsy we will have some news next week (and if we don't we hope you all forget we said that)

People shouldn't be surprised... Adam and Konami were far to quiet. Being quiet = bad news. Oh well. At least it gives people time to base copy players. :/

I think they'd lose loads of pre orders from FIFA players, they'd never buy it with FIFA out next week. PES just looking short term though I bet they will suffer big time next year in pre order numbers.

EA must be laughing their heads off.

Thank God the website is running again, I've waited 24hrs to register my annoyance at this:

Now these are just a couple of examples, but seriously, look at the player names!

Some are first name + surname - eg Chris Humphrey
Some are first name initial + surname - eg K. Davies
Some are JUST surname - eg Wright

Just..... why? Why? There's no logical reason for them to do this. Some may think I'm being a bit nitpicky, but to me it looks sloppy, unprofessional and amateurish. There needs to be consistency!

In other news, up until last night I thought that FK Qarabag was a made up PES team. :erm:

I honestly want a refund. The game is unplayable for me. It's sitting here collecting dust because playing exhibition after exhibition is not fun for me.

It's the principal. Just because you put 2016 on the cover means nothing. If You can't have rosters ready on launch then delay the release.

There should be zero tolerance for this. Anyone who even comes close to defending them is an idiot. There is no 2 sides to this situation. No excuses. Having rosters that are from a year ago is insane.

I'm playing FIFA on EA Access. Games not even out and rosters are updated. You would think Konami would be embarrassed by this, but we the customers tolerate it. 60 dollars is a lot of money for an incomplete game.

How can we ask Konami to get more licenses if they can't even manage the ones they have properly?

THis. Updated rosters are literally the easiest thing they could do in making this game. How they can't accomplish this simple act is beyond me.

Who is this Adam Bhatti guy I have to go to for news? He looks like he dropped out of high school.

Typical Konami they finally get game play back up to best and mess up with their compete and utter laziness. I mean usually they would have all transfers done bar transfer deadline day deals which are downloadable anyway on release day but to do this kinda clarifies what they think of us customers. They have 3 months of the summer to update squads as transfers happens but yet we have to wait until possibly a week to play with updated rosters which inevitably will have some players erased from the games. I spent the whole day adding in kits i downloaded and the other annoying thing i found was the colors of jerseys on the unlicensed teams........Arsenal with an orange 1st kit???!!! Is that a licencing issue or just sheer laziness from them? I can't see how they can just charging €75 for a game and it's half completed!!!

Konami logic - release game with really old squads, game gets good reviews -- thousands of potential new fans...... doesn't release squad update for weeks. :facepalm:

There's an easy way to describe this game: the best ever on the pitch, ridiculously bad outside it. Menus are even worse than before (although ML is a nice improvement, but could be better nevertheless), the usual problems with transfers, edit mode that lacks half the stuff from 10 years ago... But on the pitch, when playing, I'm just loving it.

[MENTION=180348]Ali[/MENTION] I created a ML with PECCHIORA (later I've found they are Pescara) using the default players. Played a few games already, and I think the issue with crosses is pretty much fixed, at least within the Italian 2nd league.

Oh, and in case you haven't started one yet, transfers are much better now. We can choose whether to skip the calendar daily, only when something relevant negotiation-wise happens, or just between matches.
