I don't care about pure licencing either.
But having a bundesliga with real players (and many real faces) stats etc., playable online, under fake squad names like it's the case with Premier League, Liga NOS etc., we all want it since PES 6.

Sometimes i want to play with for example Hamburg or Werder, Eintracht day one, or online, but it's impossible.

And if they've got right to do that, they probably got right for having a the Bundes 2nd division... Think about it.

Editors (and me) could focus more on others Euro/American/Asian teams to re-create.

For me a fake German league with real players is a like a revival of the "before exclusivity shitty rights" era, like a reminiscence of the PES3/WE7I to PES5.

Found an interesting video. Honestly I don't think this is real, but PES should look like this.

I would say FAKE as video has Payet at West Ham.

Or this "leaked footage" could be dated before the winter transfers. But nevertheless the design of the game in this video looks cool, I am hoping PES 2018 to look at least as modern as in that clip.

Yea, graphics are cool.

After showing my son the video, found another thing I see in the video that makes me think it is FAKE is Premier League teams. If I am not mistaken, Konami is only allowed the license of 2 Premier League teams. In the video, Arsenal and Liverpool are shown, but at the 3:15 minute mark, a third Premier League team is shown, Manchester United logo in menu on Contracts menu. So that makes 3 Premier League teams.

I hate to be wrong about things but I am hoping I am wrong about it being Fake as I really like the looks of it.

Nothing an option file edit won't fix!!!
Heaps better gameplay than FIFA 17 but hard to get used to.
I guess thats why I like it better.

Now this is where it gets interesting. Found this site where they sell PES 2018 (link above). The covers PES 2018 headline/logo has the same design as in the video. :shocking:

I'd say, impressive as that video is, the footage is 100% guaranteed to be fake. No chance a) that the players would have real life photos a la FIFA b) no chance West Ham will be licensed and c) no chance that footage would leak this early.

Why is there no chance that the players will have real photos? Also Liverpool got licensed this year first time for years so why not West Ham?

Because PES has too many fake players etc to warrant them putting real faces in. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I'd be amazed to see them do that.

As for West Ham being licensed? Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world with a massive global following. West Ham probably wouldn't even make it in to the top 100. The types of club who get licensed in PES are the ones which would make commercial sense to Konami, so your Liverpool's, Arsenal's, Man United's. Christ, even Chelsea, City or Spurs haven't been licensed so I'd be amazed if West Ham were!

The footage looks amazing, and I'd love to be wrong, but there is no chance that this would have been leaked this far in advance.

True, hopefully the menu etc. in-game design improves drastically because in PES 2017 it looks pretty bland. We'll see...

One issue who's ennoying me, it's about faces in gameplan: when you modify a player's face, the miniface isn't updated and stay with his base "preset" face.

So you've got a black Ribery, a Lahm with long hair on your Bayern gameplan.

That's very amateurish.

I remember in PES 2013 it was a different gameplan, but you could see faces from players when you select them, and if you change a player face with the editor, it was directly uptaded in the gameplan. That's what i want in PES 2018.

I know it's not gameplay related but i think that's important for the immersion.
If it's impossible to do for PES 2018 (i don't know, perhaps because of the files structure), we should at least have the choice to:

1. Remove faces from gameplan
2. Choose to have miniface "blank" for some players.

Also, i don't want too much fake free players removed from a created teams on ML: we need the possibility to choose if those fake player in "free agent" are eligible or not in the ML, with an option "Master League yes/no" i don't know...
