I would like more leagues, not only european but also other leagues, like an african league.

well yes an African league too. Egypt or South Africa would do with the African Champions League. Instead of spending all the money on Dortmund & Liverpool who people can make in 1 hour.

some bit of news!

http://www.gamezone.com/news/release-date-and-details-on-pes-2018-emerge-online-3453661

these points have got me super excited!

Gameplay Masterclass – Strategic Dribbling, Real Touch+ and new set pieces take the unrivaled gameplay to the next level

I feel the gameplay is almost perfect at the moment, hopefully these changes will make it even better. Also can't go wrong with more options on set pieces.

Presentation Overhaul – New menus and real player images

PES menus have always been very stale so I'm not getting my hope up with this, but "real player images" looks good. Hopefully these apply to the tactics screen or when you view the players profile similar to FIFA and we can manually add them to created players.

Master League Upgrade – New pre-season tournaments, improved transfer system, presentations, and functionality

Master League is great but the transfer system needs an overhaul IMO. After playing Football Manager 17 I feel like their is so much that can be implemented into a career mode of a football game. Things like taking players chemistry into account and different clauses in contracts.

But this all sounds very promising, personally cannot wait to see what they've got.

So the new ML features will be like FIFA which is good.

Need to fix the loan system. Im sick of trying to loan a player out with a 70 rating & only getting offers from teams that already have two players with 80 ratings. Also premier league teams usually loan players to championship level teams. Same thing with every other league loaning players to 2nd division clubs.

I'll believe it when I see it.

2. Graphics, lighting, player models will have a big upgrade

I mean, it can't possibly be worse.

3. Animations overhauled
4. Gameplay improved

Pointless talk. No specifics = nothing relevant

EDIT: checked his twitter, apparently changes will affect "all core animations redone like jogging, turning, dribbling" and "new auto protect and dribbling mechanics".

5. Random Select game mode will come back (FUT Draft style game mode where you will have a team full of randomly chosen players and you play against a random team), Master League Pre Season Tournaments (Probably International Champions Cup style tournaments), 2v2 and 3v3 game modes (FINALLY)

Nice.

6. real player images.

Fucking lol. This is gonna be a shitshow. Prepare yourselves to team with 60% real faces and 40% grey "things". What's the point of this?

The video looks like the same old same old to be honest. It doesn't tell you anything about the game whatsoever. It may aswell have come from PES 2017.

What I would love to see Konami do is kill off all the licenses (stay with me here!) but increase the amount of editing options. The amount of money Konami spend on Barcelona that they could spend on gameplay is massive I imagine.

They should have all teams unlicensed in terms of kits because the community produce great ones anyway. They need to reintroduce some sort of way to bring new faces into the game, such as you can with the patches on PC. They need a really great stadium editor. They need to have the facility to import numbers and lettering that some what matches the real life stuff from the EPL etc. The generic ones always look a bit crap.

They need to spend all the money they save on the Barca license to once and for all sort out all the menu's and make them look professional rather than some Japanese SNES game. They can then spend the rest of the money they save from Liverpool, Arsenal, Dortmund and co on GAMEPLAY!!!

Seriously, the community can actually do most of the work for them, as long as the gameplay is good and they undercut FIFA by charging, say £29.99 rather than £39.99 it would be a winner I'm sure.

Changing the PK system? I wont notice the change because i have only had about 5 PKs in the last two PES games.

I've never liked the PES penalty system, but the new FIFA one is worse, so I hope that's not their inspiration.

Only thing that is going to make me play more PES is improved ML, and mainly regen system. I want regen players, you know like FIFA and FM. I never play many seasons on ML, always one save with 2-3 seasons then im done with ML. Since I hate the system with a 16year old version of Zlatan, Messi, Özil etc...

Indeed. I've been wanting a proper youth player system for ages. But can we trust Konami to implement it well? Knowing Konami, I'd be expect 7ft 16yr olds from Thailand with bright red hair, full beard, named HUBERT THOMPSON.

... it will remain the same as ever.

I don't mind it though, I kinda like using the regens (following some strict rules though), but can definitely see why some people don't. We'll never have a on/off switch for regens, they'll either be there or they won't.

I don't expect this to change anytime soon. Best case scenario would be a no-transfers ML. Kinda like the good old Cup/League days in PES2013.

Regens wont change this year. they need to make it so players can have first and last names. Atleast first initial.

They need to fix duplicates. if a player has the same stats or name the game should tell you. A screen should pop up so you know.

I've never been awarded a penalty on Superstar outside of coach mode. The AI was awful on 2017 and I really didn't enjoy how complex they made dribbling, I trust they've adjusted this.

Good number of teams (better than in PES 2017 I think), but I hope they give us a good amount of fake teams to edit too. I hope it will bring good new things, otherwise, I'll stick to PES 2017.
