PES 5 Crowd, Fans, Supporters in the Stadium.

During open play there is no crowd however from free kicks, goal kicks, celebrations etc. there is a crowd.

There is no crowd in the Xbox version either, it doesnt irritate me too much though.

I use the standard view and i only notice it when i play in stadiums where the crowd is very close to the pitch (All english stadiums)
So if you are irritated just pick another stadium with stands farther away from the field.

Thats what I thought would happen, since the xbox version is a port and they wouldnt have been bothered changing anything before release.

Do one of the following:-

1. Have Slow jerky gameplay, which could ruin the enjoyment even more and have your crowd.
2. Live without the crowd
3. Get the PC version!! - PES4 was best on the PC nothing beats resolutions as high as 1280x1024 with all the graphicial details(anti alias etc), I do believe the PS2 runs at a native resolution of 640x480. Gulp! and its still struggling, perhaps if they shoved a better graphics card.
4. Try the xbox version(you could probably buy a setup for under £100)

and most of all, stop whinging!

I don't mean to piss on you chips but the Xbox game is exactly the same (except a little less jerky).

I think the special goal celebration is the camera from the crowd.

Or after a goal the camera show the 3D crowd.

Just use the camera- Broadcasting. Its a nice hight and angle and the crowd still appears all the time when on this camera.

At the end of the day its all about atmosphere and recreating a real match day on your PS2. If you went to Old Trafford to watch Man Utd v Arsenal, would you expect an empty stadium? No, of course not! Konami should have asked Pro players opinions before doing it as, for me and a lot of other people, this "no crowd" to prevent slowdown has spoiled the game for me. Surely, surely, there must be a patch in the works to rectify it? The crowd don't even have to be animated, just there!!

what an absolute digrace!!!! no crowd now?!?!? this pro evo 5 is getting worse and worse by the minute. its slow, nothing had been improved, no crowd, completely rubbish crowd and commentry noise, ive said it once already and i'll say it again, they've let a lot of people down with this pro evo5!!!

it must be a glitch because if you look closely you can see flashes from cameras and that wouldnt be included if the crowd was deliberitley taken out

It's really startin to annoy me now .

There is also a few tiny things as well that frustrates me that Konami could have easily added into the game. I thought that when people get to play it well before the release date are supposed to comment on things like the no crowd so that its fixed before its released!!!

All in all its a great game but the most tiniest things are the most annoying IMO.

What are you talking about?Instead of thanking konami for creating this amazing game/s we are debating about the no crowd phenomenon which occurs in certain occasions !Give konami a break!I mean the game is fantastic,much more realistic moves,not anymore super sprinting from players, as it was on PES 4 and in general terms the game is awesome,much more realistic!So,if you are so annoyed with the lack of crowd in wide plays,then i suggest to buy another footie game,ohhhhh i forgot your other and only solution is only FIFA 06!LOL!

Don`t try to bury the game cause noone can do it!It is by far the best of the best out there!!!!!!!! Konami had to sacrifice this in order to make the game run faster with no slowdowns like the ones that PES 4 had during a cross inside the box,or a corner.And give PS2 a break i mean it has 333 Mhz Processor!
