Are the hidden players real players or what? Does anyone have som kind of information?

You mean the newcomers, right? The newcomers are just players that the CPU has made up.

It works a lot like how it used to work in the Champ Manager games. Once the current generation of players start to age and decline, a new set of young players with enormous potential emerge. This happens in real life aswell except here, these new young players have random names and appearances etc, etc.

Aguero and dos santos are good.
Agueros my first team striker in my first season too.

I totally agree with Ko_nami about Alan Smith, he's a bit too good in the game for someone who can't even make the BENCH of a club with a serious lack of strikers at the moment (if Saha or Rooney get injured Utd are screwed). Although they did just buy Larson till mid march??

Smith isn't fully fit yet...

newcomers are not randomly computer generated, they are simply players that is pre-wrote into the game. with special editing tools you can find these premade youngsters.

For example, some players always shows up and become superstars:

Palmieri
Jean
Kaiser
etc.,

Maybe I should rephrase my original comment. The newcomers are essentially made up by the game developers but can appear at random times during an ML game depending on the CPU.

That sound better? ;)

lol, yes it does sound better. in fact 100% correct

Sorry i dont mean to be so picky, you are probably more pro than I am. Would you happen to know some Italian striker that could get above 90 in the game? I am on 1st season with AC Milan, and Gilardino is good enough, but I need an italian striker to suceed him. I like keeping the game realistic, by keeping the salary low, and using mostly (>50%) domestic players (in this case Italy), just for the sake of realism. Any sugguestions?

So far, I have pretty much italian all-star plus some stars from other countries

Buffon
Maldini
Nesta
Collocini(argentinian, but his name sounds pretty italian lol)
Mathieu
Pirlo
Gattuso
C.Ronaldo
Kaka
Tevez
Gilardino

so thats 6 of the possible starting 11 italian, isn't that a challenge?

Good Italians:

Pazzini
Piccolo
Palmieri
Donadel
Motta

That should keep your percentages up for a bit.

thanks!

I like keeping majority of my team same nationality as the league, also because I heard there is a hidden bonus where players of the same country has better teamwork.

that piccolo name sure sounds funny. He seems awefully shitty right now, are you sure he turn out above 85?

pazzini is decent but not >90, Im not sure what you mean by target-man type, do you mean post player?

it seems like italians lack good strikers, I might have to use foreign strikers after gilardino get past 30years old. At least my backline is pretty much italian, which is good because thats what they are good at.

Maldini - Nesta - Cannavaro - Matheiu (exception)

The target-man type of striker is big, tall and very strong. He can hold the ball up well and his heading and jumping ability is one of his strengths coupled with his good finishing ability.

Not sure why holding the ball up is called 'Post Player' in PES/WE. They should've called it 'Target Man' which would make a whole lot of sense in my opinion. ;)

I also bought Orellano and think he will develop in a world class player.
Lots of stars and already good stats at low age.
I also got a left footed winger called Foggia (can also play as AMF)
and he's doing a great job for me at the left wing.
I play Barcelona and just started my second season in first division.
Camacho also turned up, 18 years and i think he wil be great.
Rafael Sobis is also a good one to try.
And because i sold Van Bronckhorst i got Clichy in his place.

I like to build a team with young players, its more fun than doing it the Chelsea way.

Good luck while competing and greetings from Holland.
