Next year will be the last year I buy PES... I still have a faint glimmer of hope knowing they did make this game in like 9 months on a new engine and the fact PES15 is mainly going to be produced in a new UK studio (home of football). It's funny, people have been moaning about PES for a while, but PES 14 has made me realize, the only bad game they had produced before 14 was 2012, when they got the defending all wrong. I know they had taken bits out, but the gameplay, even on the old engine was still far superior to FIFA, which is what the hardcore PES fans care about. If they can re implement all the old parts they took out, and find a middle ground somewhere between 2013 and 2014 game play wise, you just never know. With them looking to appease the EU audience again by moving to the UK... Studio, with the fact they have been blatantly working on pes15 since 14's release as much as they try to not show it, they know they cocked up big. The UK studio leaked only a few weeks after release, meaning this game should have had a solid amount of time dedicated to it, with an extra year under the new engine. Plus wasn't 14 originally meant to be for next gen? then all of a sudden no, we will remain on PS3 and try to develop the best game possible. It was clear they weren't ready, it was clear the PS3 couldn't hack it and it's clear to me, they owe their hardcore fans big. So next year, on next gen, you are either going to get something amazing... or it's bye bye PES, which will be very sad indeed. But I will, just for the love of the SNES's ISS to 2011 (plus 2013) on PS3 will give them that chance to redeem themselves, but if they fail, I guess it's the arcadey FIFA for a quick 30 minute session a day of a little fun, rather than the 10 hour sessions of blood sweat and tears with my friends on master league or the infuriating yet loveable MLO of 13.
