MC Gork, you say that you are looking for football simulation and then you present a video which don't show a simulation at all - some stupid tricks from FIFA streets, unrealistic goals who could be seen couple times a season at best and that you call a football simulation??

Tell that to Ibrahimovic. You do realize that the goals are from different matches? I can only talk for myself (and the people I play with) and its not like things in the video happen all the time, so far I only have one bycicle kick goal. The word you were looking for is "rare" - and that they are.

@ asperas glad you liked the video. But its not like he could have done that with out Konami making the game.

Here is another great video

To be honest. I don't really care about rare goals scored and whether or not you could do that in FIFA or not.

Forget FIFA. I do not play it.

Fact is though, you mentioned it too, you like version 1.07. That patch came out 7 months after the release. That's shocking to have to wait that long before a game is deemed playable. I say playable... We all know PES is shockingly bad online. No excuse for a game to be THAT bad online in this day in age.

Fact is also, you say PES 14 takes time to get used to, I'm sorry but that's not the reason almost 2,000,000 users have left PES in the last 12 months. Konami has ran PES in to the ground, I dare you to prove me wrong.

Here's why I've lost all hope for PES (surprised it took me this long).

After the disaster of PES 2008:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/konami-pulling-out-stops-for-pes-2009

Konami claims to have "pulled out all the stops" in order to make Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 a "landmark in footballing games"

2010...

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/konami-promises-big-with-pes-2010

"We're promised the biggest, best and most realistic Pro Evolution Soccer ever"

2011...

http://m.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/news/a202448/konami-promises-pes-2011-overhaul.html#~oDCQjwT970TAM8

"Speaking to Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (via Andriasang), producer Shingo "Seabass" Takatsuka said that the franchise will be given an overhaul after several years of criticism, particularly in Europe."

2012...

http://www.gigwise.com/news/65211/konami-promise-major-new-era-for-pes

"Konami has claimed that PES 2012 promises to be the start of a 'major new era' for the flagging franchise."

2013...

http://m.softpedia.com/konami-promises-return-to-roots-for-pro-evolution-soccer-2013-266366.html

"Video game developer and publisher Konami has officially unveiled Pro Evolution Soccer 2013, after teasing it all through last week, and has promised that the new football simulation, which will be launched during the fall, will mark a return to the roots of the series."

2014...

http://uk.games.konami-europe.com/game.do?idGame=326

"Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 will mark a new beginning for the popular series, with its new engine allowing for the most comprehensive advance in the PES franchise since its inception"

And the best part, 2015...

http://winningelevenblog.com/blog/shinji-hirano-expect-big-things-pes-2015/

"We know what’s been going wrong with PES, we are working on that. The next version is totally changed. 2014 is a transitional year for the franchise, so expect big things."

I've been through to many promises, overhauls, new beginnings and transitional years now with PES that I've finally given up. In the last post Konami even admit PES 2014 is broken yet some users can't see it for their own eyes, maybe through blind faith... Who knows.

Next year will be the last year I buy PES... I still have a faint glimmer of hope knowing they did make this game in like 9 months on a new engine and the fact PES15 is mainly going to be produced in a new UK studio (home of football). It's funny, people have been moaning about PES for a while, but PES 14 has made me realize, the only bad game they had produced before 14 was 2012, when they got the defending all wrong. I know they had taken bits out, but the gameplay, even on the old engine was still far superior to FIFA, which is what the hardcore PES fans care about. If they can re implement all the old parts they took out, and find a middle ground somewhere between 2013 and 2014 game play wise, you just never know. With them looking to appease the EU audience again by moving to the UK... Studio, with the fact they have been blatantly working on pes15 since 14's release as much as they try to not show it, they know they cocked up big. The UK studio leaked only a few weeks after release, meaning this game should have had a solid amount of time dedicated to it, with an extra year under the new engine. Plus wasn't 14 originally meant to be for next gen? then all of a sudden no, we will remain on PS3 and try to develop the best game possible. It was clear they weren't ready, it was clear the PS3 couldn't hack it and it's clear to me, they owe their hardcore fans big. So next year, on next gen, you are either going to get something amazing... or it's bye bye PES, which will be very sad indeed. But I will, just for the love of the SNES's ISS to 2011 (plus 2013) on PS3 will give them that chance to redeem themselves, but if they fail, I guess it's the arcadey FIFA for a quick 30 minute session a day of a little fun, rather than the 10 hour sessions of blood sweat and tears with my friends on master league or the infuriating yet loveable MLO of 13.
