Well I'm gonna start one with shitty Bolton, so I'd imagine my funds are sligtly more limited. :(

Haha! You'd be surprised, a promotion into the Premier League straight away and some savvy transfer market dealings will give you enough money to build a decent squad.
Players are not overpriced at all and normally you can negotiate the price down at least once.
Rebelinho has built a nice team on a budget and he's started with Pescara in Serie B!

And finally here is a look at my squad, fresh from an unprecedented treble the highlight was winning the Champions League at the first try with some memorable wins against Real & Bayern along the way. I've invested the money back into the team signing Neymar for £64m being the standout purchase. Nicely set up for my 3rd season...bring it on! :D

if your winning the treble with swansea in your second season , then are you not finding it a bit boring and repetitive without a real challenge , im guessing your not on superstar or full manual ???

Last year, in my first ML (with Bolton), I carried on until I was the no. 1 club, it took 5 seasons. Even though I had already won everything by the 3rd season.

Silver Surfer What's up with Quaresma's contract being till August 31? Aren't contracts supposed to expire when the season ends?

Here is the requested Quaresma stats image, as you can see, I have given him some more game time and he's starting to progress. I've handed him the No.77 shirt as he used to have at Inter...

Dear Lord those stats. Gonna be a star for sure.

And regarding that macth with Embolo, I find it ridiculous that when you keep a clean sheet and your keeper did nothing (because you destroyed the opposition) they'll give him a shit rating.

Now this is just ridiculous :D What do you think of Tonny Trindade de Vilhena?

Looks far too easy to sign players. Neymar in your 2nd season???

Not really. As I've said before it takes money and a good team ranking. I can't still buy some players because they won't sell, at any cost. Or when they do, it's 4 or 5 times their market value.

Well I'm gonna start one with shitty Bolton, so I'd imagine my funds are sligtly more limited. :(

Maybe even less than Pescara? My Wages Budget thing said I had €1.5m to spend on new signings.

Haha! You'd be surprised, a promotion into the Premier League straight away and some savvy transfer market dealings will give you enough money to build a decent squad.

True. Specially if you bring stars from the youth team/buy free agents as a way to earn more money. Like real estate lads who buy houses just for the business.

Players are not overpriced at all and normally you can negotiate the price down at least once.

Again true, but only in part. Players are definitely not overpriced, the values paid are really much lower than they should be. But if you get a deal for a difficult player (like me with Odegaard, valued at €8m or so and I was being asked for €25m) they won't accept any adjustments.

Rebelinho has built a nice team on a budget and he's started with Pescara in Serie B!

Well, I did benefited from choosing defualt players, as there were some good ones (Arcas, Coutinho, Giorza, and for first level Vasilj) already. I did managed to get a crucial player, whose rating is very misleading: Varis, now named Donati after I installed a patch. Ali this one will probably be in your best interests. I still use him and keep refusing transfer offers for him.

No I'm not finding it boring at all, the opposite in fact. My Challenge is to build a world class squad, develop youth players and reach the No.1 club ranking.
I play at superstar level with manual shooting but with assisted player change as I find the computer knows what player I want to pass to better than I do - if you know what I mean.
Also, when you score 3 or 4 past the computer it tends to give up and their players go into a slump. Makes it much easier to score 5,6 or 7+ goals because the attacking force is with you.

The phrase "Don't hate the player, hate the game" comes to mind

I think it's because I signed Quaresma half way through the season but also the fact that he had no club as a fresh regen..?

I hope so, have you signed him yet in your game?

What do you think of Tonny Trindade de Vilhena?

I've only just signed him so not even played a game with him yet, although I did have him in PES15 in one of my teams and I remember him being a decent young talent, was good to bring off the bench and use in cup games to give your regular CM a rest.

add manual passing in with that and you've got a real challenge , what match time do you play SILVERSurfer ?

With every new PES game I tend to start off with a medium rated team, then move on to a lower league european team for my next ML as a real challenge.
I play 7 or 8 minute games I think, no more then 10 mins each half...otherwise it would take an age to complete a season

Haven't reached January yet.

Good stuff. Another target for my future Ajax ML.

well 5 games in on manual passing and shooting with 7 minute half's on -1 speed and on superstar difficulty is really really pleasing to play not too hard but then not too easy as my B team just got thumped away to roma in CL 4-1 but i was in the game as far as possesion and shot's goes, so will be playing a stronger 11 in future, but here's my team for the long term with a few additions and vidal as dmf being the main one.

Ajax ML next for you then? After I've achieved all my targets with Swansea i'm going to start a new one with a Spanish League 2 side, probably RCD Mallorca.

Oh no, it will be for the *future*. My next one depends on when it will happen. If it is before the 29th (unlikely) it will be almost random, if after the upgrade it will be with Porto.

Nice team, you have an awesome bench but most of your first 11 is the current Barca team. I prefer gradually improving a lesser team over time and replacing each position with a better / younger player.

I do however find it slightly ironic that you said after my 9-0 win that I'm not really challenging myself but you are playing with Barca..!

well firstly i said are you not finding it a bit easy and not a real challenge winning the treble with swansea but if you like to take a lesser team and have a fiction based experience then that's up to you , but i like to pretend i have been brought in to win all the trophies every season with the best player's , a bit like CITY are trying to do, plus i keep a record dating back to pes2013 of every league winner , cup , top three GS and top assist of the 5 main leagues with bayern and other going in the Portuguese lge to make it the euro league and also EL and CL winners , so i know how i'm doing lol and i've only won the CL once the league 2 or 3 times and copa del ray and EL once so it's a real challenge for me , plus i have maual passing now if i had assisted like you i would win the treble every season because it'snot the finishing that's necessarily the hard part it's the build up and getting in behind and on manual passing that's alot tougher on superstar. SO try manual passing and let me know how swansea do this season ; )

Ok fair enough, everyone plays the game differently, thats what makes it great I suppose. I might have to try manual passing then to see what its like. I look forward to seeing how your Barca team develops in a few seasons once all the current big stars have retired.

i'm looking to get pogba, vidal and zouma in january, just got reus as cover and could've had hummels but let atletico get him as i'm not taking all the top players like i won't touch madrid or hardly anyone from the big teams so it still feels as real as it can be, plus all the player's iv'e got in have been trades for similar posistion like silva for rakitic benatia for mascherano costa for pedro and so on.

Sounds decent, I have Zouma and he's very good. Strong and powerful, excellent baller winner...future Swansea Captain!
I also don't like buying players from my domestic rivals, keeps the league competitive.

ok mate will look into him in january, well i just played a newly promoted liga team las palmas or something and i will put a video on later just to show you manual passing , i went 1-0 up and could've got another but then they equalized and they were on top but i just managed to turn my attacking threat into a goal just before or after halftime and then they crumbled so fine margins , also to flipit mynext game i went 2-0 down to athletic club and should've put my chances away to draw at least but i didn't take them so it's about how you perform consistently over 90 minutes to get wins and if you don't then it's your fault not the scripting.

Just a quick player development update...

Over the weekend Quaresma got the red development arrow and went from 76 OR to 81 OR. He scored at least one goal or more in the games he played and each time got a match rating of 7.5 to 8.5.

His new stats are as follows...I'm sure you'll be impressed Rebelinho :D
