I agree, I never hit the highs of ps1 ISS games.. then again, im 10 years older too

I thought I was quite a big PES fan but reading all of you makes me feel more normal haha :)

I have played ISS 98 right through every single one on the playstation. I remember ISS 98 much better than I do PES 2 or PES 6 or PES 2008!!!!

I dont know how some of you can remember PES 5 and 6 to say they were great I couldn't tell you a thing about them even though I did play them for a year.

For me nothing comes close to PES 6, I liked 5 but I moved on to 6 and cant remember it after that :D

250 memorial matches between me and my mate speaks for itself, although the momentum thingy was crazy. If your up 3-0 at halftime and concede a goal your losing the game lol

what i will write is my opinion , before 2011 i preferred fifa but it was not a real football game for me , it was just good pc football game , but in 2011 i preferred pes , simply it is the first real football game on pc , not just a good pc game .
congratulations to pes 2011 makers !

PES 5 was amazing at the time but if you played 10 games of PES 2011 and then played 10 games of PES 5 I think you'd realise how many more features and touches are in the game now!

The passing alone is 10 times better!!

I sometimes play Pes 5 and 6, good games and most important they have the "PES MAGIC" which somehow got a bit lost since 2007 but on the downside these two games a are a bit to much arcade for my taste.
But now we have Pes 2011! A game that seems to bring back the old "Pes Magic" and brings the series in a more simulation direction.
A good balance between arcade and simulation seems to do the trick for me.

Oh yer no doubt PES 2011 is a great game but It just doesn't do it for me the way 5/6 did. Im having a blast with 2011 But it's non existent atmosphere/commentary,Cursor changes,random wayward passing and players running into each other or blocking passes stop me from giving it the full 5 stars. But I really think that pes 12 will finally see the return of the King!!
